The company was created on May 23, 2006 for the sole purpose of distributing films from Asian Cinema on DVD whose licenses are held by or will be acquired by The Weinstein Company. Dragon Dynasty showcases classic and contemporary Asian Cinema, particularly those films which fall under the action and martial arts genre."
Basically, a DVD company that was created to make Gammy happy forever.

As some of you know, I am a HUGE fan of the Asian action genre, and that goes from obscure 70's Kung Fu movies, to modern Korean masterpieces like Oldboy, to funky 80's kickboxing police movies, etc, etc.
These guys are releasing modern Korean titles, Shaw Brothers titles, Jackie Chan titles, Sammo Hung titles, modern HK action titles, etc.
Not only that, they are releasing the movies UNCUT, with great special editions (sometimes 2-disc sets are available), commentaries, interviews and all kinds of extra features.
So if you like stuff like this, you might like this thread and its contents...

The One-Armed Swordsman - After his servant father is killed protecting their master, Fang Gang (Jimmy Wang Yu) is raised by the master as his son and trained in swordsmanship. When the masters daughter chops off his right arm in a thoughtless fit of anger, Fang learns a new one-armed style of swordmanship, which he later uses to protect the master in his greatest hour of need.
