The Elders of the Universe

...we've met two; the Collector (Taneleer Tivan), and the Grandmaster (En Dwi Gast). The Elders of the Universe are implied to be supervillains, although the two we've met don't actually seem to be - neither do they really seem to be all that powerful by their comic counterparts.

Needless to say, does anyone think we might meet any of the others along the way, and if so, which ones? Does anyone think any one (or more) of them are actually going to pose an actual threat to our heroes, or are they likely to remain more ... nuisances?

I hope we do. I love the MCU versions of them and hope they keep them these very whacky characters. In particular, I want to see a goofy take on Champion. I would get The Rock to play him (get the People's Champion to play THE Champion...writes itself)

I honestly feel like a Liberators movie would be perfect for delving into these Elders.

Valkyrie already has ties to Grandmaster
Sif and Gamora already have ties to the Collector

Captain Marvel, Mantis, Scarlet Witch, and Wasp are all valid additions that would be interesting to see interact with those gentlemen.

Having the Gardner show up as the current holder of the soul stone, only to get curbstomped by Thanos (who wades through whatever gigantic CGI vegetation Gardner uses by way of defense), could be one way to showcase a third Elder.

Captain Marvel, Mantis, Scarlet Witch, and Wasp are all valid additions that would be interesting to see interact with those gentlemen.

Captain Marvel, Mantis, and Wasp would be fine.
But Scarlet Witch has nothing to do with cosmic stuff whatsoever.

I'm not a fan of most of them and I do think using them sparingly adds to their impact. But I definitely would like to see the Gardiner, the Contemplator, and maybe the Runner some day. I feel those are the most unique and easy to take seriously. Some of the others I could see in brief cameos for comic relief. If all of them appear, it should be together as mostly Easter Eggs.

The Gardener turning his attention to earth with his crop of pods would make a great horror flick Invasion of the Body Snatcher style. What a cool way to venture into the horror concepts of Blade and Ghostrider and the likes teaming up.

Both of the Elders we have met are met are bad guys one captures and imprisons beings for vanity and the other makes them fight to the death.

Neither has been shown to be Physically powerful but Grandmaster was not afraid of Thor who showed he could break the restraints with mild effort of course Grandmaster never heard of Asgard either so he might just be ignorant in general
