The Entity remake

Amy Holden Jones (“Indecent Proposal”, “Mystic Pizza”) has been hired to rewrite the remake of “The Entity” - hmmm, something different for her by the sounds; though as 'Paul' tells me "it's actually a return to her roots! Her directorial debut was the 1982 slasher flick Slumber Party Massacre"- for Fox Atomic.

The pic, to be directed by Hideo Nakata, tells of a woman who is tormented and sexually molested by an invisible demon.

FOX Atomic will distribute the remake.

Barbara Hershey and Ron Silver starred in the 1981 original.
