The FACEBOOK Thread - Part 2

Wait... the pictures this guy put on his Facebook page wound up on the internet!?

Now I've seen everything.

I will instantly lose respect for any website that reports this as news.

And moving on to more important news..........

Oh, the irony. :o

Here's hoping the CIA's 'annual picnic album' gets leaked as well.

Mr. Sugartown of all people should know the weakness of his own system.

Thank goodness this has been brought to our attention.

i thought that the this news is meant to tell you that if Zuckerberg's facebook can be hacked that everyone's can be hacked. its not safe which is bad.

Well luckily for Zuckerberg, he only has photos of him doing routine stuff - having friends round, playing with the dog, etc. He seems a pretty normal and down to earth guy as opposed to the weirdo they depicted him as in The Social Network.

As for this proving that Facebook is not 'safe' ............ you know what, it's a social networking site, not a portal to the FBI's database. Most people only have harmless pics on there anyway. And if you've got something embarassing/illegal/pornographic/whatever, then bigger fool you for putting it on the internet somewhere. Once something is on the web, it's never safe.

Dad Selling Son For $20 Million On Facebook: Nasser Al Shahry's Attempt To Avoid Poverty

When you're out of work and trying to feed your family do you try to sell off one of your children for millions?

That's allegedly what Saud bin Nasser Al Shahry did after the Saudi Arabian government forced him to shut his illegal business, The Daily Mail reports.

Al Shahry allegedly advertised on Facebook that his son could be had for $20 million, the tabloid says.

He turned to trafficking when the government put the kibosh on his debt collection business. Then, welfare officials denied his requests for aid, because he's older than 35, the age limit for receiving benefits, Emirates 24/7 says.

So Al Shahry allegedly offered up his own flesh and blood online, saying later that he wanted to avoid "living in poverty," according to media reports.

Child trafficking in Saudi Arabia is illegal and the post apparently violates Facebook's content policy.

I hear Angelina Jolie's interested. :o

.....the post apparently violates Facebook's content policy.

This made me laugh more than it should have.

Oh yeah, the guy is a scumbag.

AM I the only one shocked because he's asking for $20mil? That's a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a human.

So, what if the buyer has coupons? :o

Anyway, the father is a complete idiot for trying to sell his son.

This is disgusting. They should put the father in prison so he'll find out that there are things worse than being in poverty.

He needed 20 million to escape poverty?

I guess the standard of living is really really high over there.

Is it wrong that I wasn't surprised as soon as I saw this was in Saudia Arabia?

Nope. Selling their children is actually bigger than you think in the Middle East

Yeah , I'd never pay that much for a human. I'm not sure what the going price is on the black market but it can't be anywhere near twenty million.
