Has anyone checked out that application feature? I just spend an hour playing around with the movie one.

The applications are stupid. Have you read the license agreements? The Extended Info one gives the developers everything on your profile: name, school, your favorites, even your profile picture.

Facebook is a networky site (kind of like myspace without all the background/music/******ed customization) which was originally for college students only but has recently opened up to everyone.

Why is that a bad thing, Ben? Couldn't these companies just get all those info from your myspace? Unless they are also stealing your password and s--t like that.

I'm not really either. I have the movie one, but I don't do anything with it. Mostly I use facebook for updated email addresses for friends.

And I like it when people write on my wall.

Also, its a good place to host pictures.

Thats how I ended up on MySpace. However, I don't see it happening with Facebook. I already graduated from college and so did most of my friends. Facebook is still considered a college site. So, its not something popular with my group of friends. Although I know a few who have it, my sister included.

I'm not too crazy about MySpace but I find it as a good tool to reconnect with old friends.

I reluctantly had MySpace for friend purposes, but then I got kicked off for inappropriate pictures. Never bothered re-joining.
