I've decided to sort of collect most of my drawings in to one place. Some of them you've seen before in fan art contests, some you haven't. I'll be posting some of my future stuff here as well.

Swamp_Thing_Poster_by_Johnny_DC.jpg

Done with my girlfriend's wacom board, for October's contest. It didn't even get honorable mention and I considered it my best drawing ever. :(

Superman_vs__X_Men_by_Johnny_DC.jpg

This is one of my favorites, done entirely in Paint. I used the line tool and pasted my drawing over a picture of a sky.

Hyper_by_Johnny_DC.jpg

Here's my version of Hyper. I had to conver it to GIF because the JPEG format made it too distorted. Also made with a Wacom board.

Kingdom_Come_Superman_by_Johnny_DC.jpg

This one was also done in Paint, but I made the smoke in PhotoImpact, my second-rate version of PhotoShop. It's just photo editing software.

For some reason, this is always the favorite of people's, even though it's one of my first shots at drawing in Paint. Whatever. I went for a Jim Lee/Frank Miller Batman.

Superman_Seeing_Red_by_Johnny_DC.jpg

This was for a splash page art contest, also made in paint. I was looking for a new way to portray heat vision and tried to depict as if his eyes were flame throwers.

i think its the simplistic style of the batman that ppl really like. so simple yet so cool

I think this was my first fan art contest, I could be wrong. It's definately one of my favorites. This was also done in Paint, with the smoke effect donen in PhotoImpact.

Well I'm glad you think it's cool.

I'll try to dig up some other drawings on my computer that no one has seen yet.

Here's a new one:

It's another b&w batman done in paint. I made this at the request of a friend who wanted me to draw him a batman wallpaper. I took the easy way out.

if u can do such good work in paint, i can't wait til u get photoshop, if you plan on getting it of course

It's on my Christmas list, but not high enough that I think I'll get it.

And I should point out that the Swamp Thing and Hyper drawings weren't colored in paint. Obviously. They were colored in PhotoImpact. And I'm still a little rusty on my coloring, so be gentle.

Here's one that predates the first b&w batman:

It's easy to tell, at least for me, that I was still trying to get my own style down with this drawing of Black Lightning.

97 views and only 2 comments :(

yeah that's how it goes. i dont get comments either lol

maybe once my tablet comes in and if i can create something really cool, maybe i'll get comments then hopefully

Sooo......

What does everyone think of my drawings?

Thanks...  :) :O

...Anyone have any favorites? Or requests?

Here's one I just did in Paint today of my girlfriend. I drew it with her Wacom board and I colored it with the line tool and paintbucket.

She graduated from college yesterday.

...Aaaannd still no comments.

Here's a quick sketch I made in Paint:

It started off as Batman falling, cape spread, but I envisioned this and couldn't resist.

Haven't posted anything new for a while (mostly because no one comments anyway), but here's the blueprint for what I plan on doing for the Ghost Rider Fan Art Contest this month:

i'm familiar with 3 of them, but who is the blue guy? i'm not too sure on who he is

For the Heroes fan art contest:
