Well one is the Brother of the site supervisor THEY had a fall out at home now the brother won't answer the phone. The OTHER guy is ex navy and this is the 2nd week he's done this. HE should be more reliableReal story... When I started this gig in 2001 about a year into the job we got a new guy. I heard he was like 18 through the grapevine. At first he was fine coming to relieve me in the mornings. Eventually he just got sloppy and really took his time coming in and before you knew it he was not coming in until two hours after his shift was supposed to start. I gave him slack cause of his age but even I had my limits. He got fired and on that day I learned that not only wasn't he 18 but he was my exact age (I was 28/29 or so at the time) but HE FREAKING LIVED LIKE 15 MINUTES FROM THE JOB. I swear, if I had known that when he was employed here, I might have stomped a mudhole in his buttocks and walked it dry. That level of childish behavior should be gone from a man after the age of 25.

Barry Allen and Wally West each had both of their parents alive while they were the Flash.Maybe Odin is the only parent of a superhero that doesn't stay dead.
Me too.I miss Piper.![]()
I remembered that line Timothy Dalton's character told Jennifer Connelly's character in The Rocketeer (I paraphrase):Stallone was a hypocrite using this track in a montage to illustrate how the heroic American trained "old school" without the aid of modern equipment to defeat the evil Soviet fighter who prepared in a high tech gym and used performance enhancers, all the while the truth is that Stallone is a walking cocktail of substances banned by athletic associations world wide.

"Not hypocrisy, acting."

Holy crap, I just woke up and was smoking my morning cig and lightning had to hit not more than a street or two in front of me. It literally blinded me for a second. I've never seen lightning touchdown that close before because that scared the f*** out of me.
Yikes, the last episode of TBC podcast is 2 hours 4 minutes long.
This session will be long, and I'm glad the download option exists for this one.
Yeah, lightning is insane AF. My dad was grilling in the backyard one summer when I was a kid. It was raining but he really wanted to finish the stuff he had cooking. The grill was under a large umbrella. So he keeps going out to check on things and no joke maybe a few seconds after he walked back in the house a bolt of lightning hit about 6 feet from the grill. I remember it like it was yesterday. You really could smell the ozone, the brightness and color were astounding.
Didn't feel it 8 bit.We appreciate your patronage Aziz. To be fair it's as I've touted, a show all about the Year In Film That Was 1984. Lots of material to cover Aziz. Think of it as a take out meal where you are going to have leftovers for a day or two.t:
PS: I hope you enjoyed the 8-bit adaptation of our intro theme and the Max Headroom tribute at the start.
