Meh... I love the concept of the Green Lantern and I've been reading Geoff Johns' run on the comic and loving it too. This just doesn't look like it's going to be all that good. The CGI looks horrible! It looks like a Toy Story movie with Ryan Reynolds put over the top of the childish cartoon CGI. His head is real and everything else is a cartoon!

It could be the best comic book movie story of all time but it'll never top the good comic book movies just coz people will be taken out of the experience with cartoony CGI.

I think GL will make BB esque BO. That's my early prediction. Being released in June will hurt it a bit. I think FC will make more (since X-Men is more established than GL) and I see Thor and Cap being hits. GL I am the least confident about given the month. Question is, if it makes BB type money, is that enough to greenlight a sequel?

I disagree with you on the footage being bad, though. Trailer 1 was meh. This footage was a lot better.
