I'm disappointed that while my speech has improved in areas, I can't locate an American accent. I still sound like English second language to me, I just speak clearer now when I focus on where my tongue, lips, jaw should be when making vowel sounds.

I did discover while doing speech therapy homework, if I use my throat more while talking I sound better.
