I second this. He'd be fantastic.
Dude, you already said this on the Comic Book Movie site. That won’t happen. He’s too good for a C-List character like Firefly. Good day to you, sir.
You say C-List supervillain... I say, supporting role in a Matt Reeves film.
Boyd H is a really good call.
If I had to guess, I'd say we're in for a lesser known character actor.
Probably someone Dastmalchian-esque.
Boyd Holbrook was actually my personal favorite to play Batman before the whole "age 25-30" thing came up. Not sure if he should play another comic book villain.
Nicholas Hoult, bringing the same kind of energy he had at the beginning of Fury Road
Hard to think of many actors for Firefly when in the 20-30 age range.
Aaron Paul was my first choice but he is too old for the role. But Jessie Plemmons is about the right age and hes plenty talented.
Either one would be great!
These age ranges are really screwing with my ideas for the characters, and I'm still holding out hope for Sean Gunn as Firefly. Will Poulter's the only actor in the new range that comes to mind.
My top choice so far:
1. Sean Gunn
2. Boyd Holbrook
I'd say Gunn might be outside of the casting calls age range. which when you think about the description it sounds like firefly might be a parallel to Bruce. Hence why they might go for younger.
.... Jack O'Conell for Firefly?
Based on the description it someone who could be upper class but isn't.
Caleb Landry Jones
Hopefully so we don't get a boring and predictable choice as Joker.
What about his look-alike, Steven Yeun ?
