I watched this yesterday and going by my first post in this thread I've been eating crow ever since. This was some great horror right here. And I can't believe they got away with THAT shot in an R-rated movie.

Movie is pretty interesting but it sucks as a prequel.
Damien’s mother always was a Jackal - not his father/grandfather
Father Brennan was part of the conspiracy (he had a marking on his leg) and not the one who discovers it
Damien’s mothers name was Maria Avedici Santoya - why should the cult of the prequel bury her (if she was burnt)
The cult was satanic and making it a christian cult, who summoned the devil to safe the church is just…bull****

I’m fond of The Omen, but I’m not gonna sit here and pretend to care enough about those details to hold it against this film. They did what they had to do.
