Downloaded Injustice on PS4, thanks to PS+, and of course the first match I played was Flash vs Arrow. :D

Never seen Arrow? Why? I think most fans consider it better than Gotham and I agree, it is less cheesy, better written and has better villains like Merlyn, Deathstroke, Clock King... maybe you should give it a shot, keeping in mind the show really hits its stride in the second half of Season 1.

I just have no interest in Green Arrow, and nothing I've seen on The Flash has convinced me I should. Oliver, Felicity, etc. just clutter up whatever episode they're in.

I wonder what was behind Wells asking Felicity about Arrow? He hoped she'd tell him,so he wouldn't need an excuse for having that knowledge?(He's from the future, and supposedly he knows.)But,she didn't tell him and he never came up with an excuse to all on how he figured it out.

Does he actually ever do his job?

According to his boss, Captain Singh, no he does not!

I'm presuming that Barry will use the more advanced equipment at STAR labs to work some DNA magic for Team Arrow. With the assistance of Caitlin and Cisco who between them appear to have every major field of science covered.

Probably keeping his facade.

What happened to the necessary paperwork like reports and chain of custody? Oh no my suspension of disbelief RUINED.

Jk

Loved the episode. Flash and Arrow make a great buddy team, and they play off each other extremely well. Their fight scene was nicely done, and the impetus for their fight was well-thought-out.

I loved how stupefied Diggle was when he witnessed Barry's super-speed for the first time. LOL. And I liked how Barry defended Oliver when West and Wells were expressing their disapproval of the Arrow. There was a lot of good stuff in the episode.

They are saving that for the season finale. 2 hours of Barry filling out his paperwork and filing. At NORMAL speed.

:funny:

He drives the pen fast in the paper an nothing is damaged.
Oh my suspension of disbelief RUINED.

My suspension of disbelief for Barry the CSI tech was obliterated a long time ago. But, to be fair, he doesn't need to worry about chain of custody for Sara's DNA sample. But they didn't even ask Barry Allen to do the sample.

Enjoyed the huge grin on Barry's face when Green Arrow shows up. Diggle being startled when Barry ran up was pretty funny. Felicity's burnt shirt. Updated version of the Rainbow Raider. "How can you have super speed and still not be on time?" made me laugh as well. Loved seeing Firestorm show up at the end!

Was very, very, very pleased with this episode. I haven't ever gotten a chance to check out Arrow but based on the two crossover episodes it's a damn good show from what I can see.

And the fight between Flash & Green Arrow was enough to make my f'n head explode. It ended up being handled 10x better than everything I envisioned in my mind.

So I finally watched it. I was worried it would make Barry look incompetent to Oliver, but I was surprised. Both episodes had good action, the characters mingled well, Diggle was actually pretty un in his bafflement. But more importantly, it showed how both o their tactics need work: Barry tends to rush in without thinking and doesn't search the area. Arrow resorts to brutal methods far too quickly and is kind of controlling. It was rough, but it showed them warming up towards the others identities and working well together.

I thought this was a solid episode and a good crossover. I was a little disappointed that they didn't show them catch Prism and they cliche bickering about who would win when Barry is in rage mode. Other than that, no real major complaints.

I also like how Joe was seeing how much Barry looks up to Ollie and doesn't want him to go down that path.

Good episode, really enjoyed it. Diggs reaction to the Flash was priceless.
I was rolling when he first saw Barry.

Though I think that Ollie was a little to serious during the entire thing.
When he mentioned scouting the crime scenes and probably just Barry's attitude, he knows Barry needs more disciplined and shouldn't take his powers for granted.

Yeah , i agree with that characterization. I don't think Ollie was too serious but I do think they made him more wise and zen than he normally is on his own show. I think of Oliver a strategic and smart at times, but he he's not exactly wise. He's flawed constantly makes mistakes not only as Arrow but as Oliver Queen and he hasn't seemed to learn from them. That's why Oliver as wise sage was only thing in the Flash episode that didn't ring true to me.

That said, for the purposes of this crossover I think they wanted to emphasize Ollie's strengths and experience over Barry's weaknesses and inexperience in terms of doing the job.

It's similar to his water slapping with Roy. I think Oliver as a trainer is a little better than him normally because he's had good instructors.

The episode was solid, although it could have been handled better in places. I'm glad that Barry began to question Oliver instead of being a drooling fanboy around him. It leveled their footing somewhat, although there is still a ways to go on that.

I would have liked to have seen Barry put Oliver in a coma for awhile, because it's a stretch for GA to last even 5 seconds against Flash. It also would have made for an interesting arc for Barry to sort out hurting someone he liked with his power. But, I knew that would be too much to ask.

Finally, my favourite DC character (Firestorm) in live action. It's a pity they couldn't work in the fusion of two people in one body. The GA v Flash fight was amazing and satisfying unlike the fights in Smallville that seemed to be over in 2 seconds flat.

I agree. I loved it. It's superhero tv done right. Agents of Shield is tv done wrong.

AOS still trumps Arrow simply because Coulson is far more interesting than dry, one-note Oliver. I'm glad the crossover came off well, but I hope Arrow doesn't show up on Flash too often. The other characters on that show are more interesting, so I have no problem with them being utilized, ala the Felicity episode.

If the most powerful superhero in creation (Superman) can lose to a normal joe (Batman) because LOLPlot, then Barry can too.

It gets ridiculous to the point where fanboys of certain characters think their guy can beat guys like Superman and Flash because some writer like Timm or Miller dumbed them down.

Which begs the question--if Batman can take down Superman (and the rest of the Justice League), why can't he stop the Joker? Why does he need the rest of them to take on Darkseid.

See how stupid crap like that is?

In his right mind or not, Flash would destroy Green Arrow. Holding back or going all-out, Superman would obliterate Batman. Period.

Yeah, I've seen the same nonsense from Superman fans re:BvS. I suspect, that, just like it'll happen in BvS with Batman, Ollie will hold his own, and in the end, there will be a draw with no decisive winner.

Yeah, it's not like Batman fans won't piss and moan if Superman puts him down as he should.:cwink:
