Much like Wonder-Woman's thread, who do you think the villain(s) should be in a Live-action adaptation of The Flash? :yay:

Zoom is your three movie arc Harry Osborn style trilogy villain. Beginning as a friend, having his accident in the second (the epilogue of which see's him transform into Zoom) and then the third movie is what we've all been waiting for...

I dont know much on flash villains but i think mirror master, captain cold, grodd, zoom would be good villains to use in a film.

Captain Cold should definately be in a live action Flash movie at some point. He's always been my favourite Flash rogue. Hell, I even like his appearance in the early 1990's live action Flash television show!

What was he like in that series? Never seen pictures. What other villins were on that show besides Trickster and Cold?

Those are the only two I can remember showing up from the comic books.

Captain Cold in the televison show, was a hitman who used, you guessed it, a freeze weapon to kill his victims. He first appears killing off local mobsters, before turning on the very crime boss who hired him in the first place, and then sets his sights on the Flash. He doesnt wear the infamous parka (trenchcoat instead), and is also presented as being albino.

I wouldnt say he was as memorable as Hamill's performance as the Trickster, not by a long shot. However, I found the episode pretty cool. And certainly more entertaining than other episodes.

Nice. I may buy that show on dvd. I always liked Flash's costume for some reason.

Yeah, for it's time, I considered it on par with Michael Keaton's Batman costume in the Burton Batman films.

yea in the live action flash show only ones they did was cold, mirror master, and trickster from the comics.

Yeah, for it's time, I considered it on par with Michael Keaton's Batman costume in the Burton Batman films.

I liked it in that it was mainly faithful to the comic costume; but it was too damn bulky. The traps and chest were absolutely huge.

I know that it was because of the coolant systems and all but Flash shouldnt look more muscular than, say, Superman if they were standing side by side.

With modern costume technology, they could own the Flash costume. I just hope we get to see it.

Anyways, voted for Zoom. I'm a sucker for the whole 'evil twin' thing or any variation of that theme.

The TV show also had Polux, that was basicly a Zoom with a modified origin.

Captain Cold leading a team of Rogues. I like the Rogues much better as a group then seperately. Zoom would be great for a sequel because he ups the ante of the Rogues and tackles more about the speed force granting the sequel the ability to be bigger than the first.

Bulky never bothered me. Actually I dont think I thought about it too much. Being a kid during the early 1990's, the main thing was if it looked good. And I was pretty impressed with the costume. I felt it worked, and looked in no way like a cheap, watered down made-for-tv suit which was what I was really expecting upon hearing about the Flash getting his very own live action tv show.

Speaking of Superman, with superhero costumes making the actor wearing them even more physcially intimidating, I have to wonder if we would have got a Superman costume along the same lines if another Superman film would have got off the ground during the 1990's. As I am aware of several attempted projects being considered around this time period.

I certainly wouldnt doubt it.

Zoom all the way. And Protocida, thanks for that link to the characters from The Flash! Even though they look kinda sh**ty

If you do Cobalt Blue I'd demand they do a movie inspired by Chain Lightning

Umm....why is Cobalt Blue even on there? He SUCKS. I don't even count him as a "real" Flash villain. The Barry's "evil twin" idea was Mark Waid's worst idea ever.

I agree a team of Rogues would be great. They have a great dynamic and ouside of the X-Men movies there hasn't been a good team of supervillains on film.

I sometimes forget just who's on Flash's rouge gallery list, close to being second only to Batman's on the DC side.

Gorilla Grodd. Partially because I knew who he was before I even knew who the flash was. Also, it is just so cool to see a giant ultrasmart gorilla attacking Central City.

I think Zoom is the probably the best one. And man, I love that name:Zoom.

Also, bring in Captain Cold and Grodd.
