No, no, no, no. Harris is Barry. I would hate to see him as a villain. Speaking of which..... what do you guys think about Mark Hammill as Weather Wizard or Captain Cold? I think he would do a great job and it would be a really cool homage to The Flash tv show (Hammill played The Trickster on the show in the '90s).

Piper walks the line. Hes the rogue that eventually quits (Trickster too but it didnt work as well)

Sorry, guys, but no to Harris as Flash in a live action flick. I loved him in NF, he was really great, funny, charming, he's got the voice to pull it off, but it takes more than that for a live action movie. (meh on his being gay, great actor tho :D) I think he's a little old to play the 24 year old forensic scientist that Barry was when he became Flash and he doesn't quite look the part, IMO. I'd go with Ryan Gosling, he's got the look, brainyness, charm, age, funny, and star status to pull off the Flash (Barry) and make the film's character garner the same attention that Bale and Downey's parts caught, him being an oscar nominee (winner? I can't remember) and all. :)

Mirror Master would be a cool villain. imagine all those mirror worlds they could show him touring. Sam Scudder version, he was more threatening, IMO, and smarter. The drug addict one is funny tho, but Sam was arguably the greatest Flash villain of the silver age. he was a bigger threat single handely back then. i'd love to see all the rogues tho. :)

I can't wait for Flash: Rebirth (january by geoff johns and ethan van sciver)! :D

Kevin:

Haven't read much with Scudder but I like the current version.

Since you mention the mirror worlds I think it would be easy to have a movie just with him for Flash to fight with. MM could lure Flash into an alternate reality like what happened in Wonderland.

They definitely should have the technology to execute his various mirror tricks now.

They could even have one or two Rogues in each movie then have them all team up in a third against the Flash or Flashes.

There's so many directions they could take this franchise. :D

Naw, Evan McCulloch all the way. He's taken the mastery of the mirror technology to levels Scudder never dreamt of. Plus, he has a cooler backstory. And then of course there's the fact he's a fellow Scotsman. :woot:

Damn straight.

With both the Flash and Mirror Master - the scope of the sfx is potentially is through the roof.

It would be awesome to see on the big screen.

I like the current verion too, but McCulloch seems better as a supporting rogue, he works best when he's with the others. He's kinda funny too. Sam, on the other hand, seemed like he was a bigger threat alone. He had more of a rivalry with Capt Cold then a friendship like McCulloch. Remember the MM on JLU? That was Scudder. He was also the MM Barry fought on the Batman. He just seemed more credible as a singular threat to the Flash. But McCulloh would work too I guess. :D

I think the Rogues work better together anyway so I think its best to use the current version

I love em together and it would be awsome if they did them all in the first film, (like the old batman tv show movie lol) but I'm just saying it might be a little too much and that if they have to go with only one Rogue, I'd go with Mirror Master. Probably the Sam Scudder version, as he was more dominant then the current version and he seemed like a bigger threat on his own. Besides, during the silver age he was considered Flash's worst enemy as opposed to the supporting rogue member he's been relegated to in the current comics. :)

McCulloch can do both. He doesn't need to be truly "alone" fighting Flash since he can create his own evil duplicates of people, Flash himself or partners in crime like he did with one of Wally's supporting cast in Johns' run. His power allows him to be more versatile as a threat the most Rogues making him taking longer to defeat then them in a solo film.

He could drive Flash crazy trying to find and thwart. That's going to take plenty of time for Flash to figure out how to, even without any other Rogues to interfere.

With the Wonderland idea McColluch could bring an entire world against Flash where he's outnumbered and no idea how to get out. MM could possibly team up with him if he gets in over his head in the alternate reality, as well.

Flash would go insane meeting evil versions of his supporting cast. :D

They could always use Scudder but have him use McCulloch's technology.

I think McCulloch fits a movie better though since he can be funny some times. With Cold I'd want to be a deadly serious 24/7.

truthfully, i find Mirror Master to be the most interesting of Flash's classic villains.

Cobalt Blue is my favorite Flash villain not named Zoom

Ha! I almost forgot about Wonderland. Yeah, McCulloch would be OK I suppose. Scudder is fine too but McCulloch works. Thanks, Major. :D

I'm sorry, bro, but Cobalt Blue is one of my least fave Flash villains of all time. So lame, I hate him. I'm sorry.

I do not think Zoom should be used in the first film... The Flash should be the only super speed character in his first movie. Putting another super speed character in would take part of the focus away from him..... the hero should always be the main focus any film, but definitely for their first one. If they do just one villian, I say either go with Mirror Master or Trickster. But my dream cast of rogues for the first film is still all three Blacksmith, Mirror Master, and Trickster. She's hired both of them in the comics so it could definitely work in the film.

I would love to see Captain Cold and Heatwave together as the villain.

They have always been the closest of the Rogues, and pretty much the leaders, which leads very well into the next movie having a full cast of Rogues brought together by Cold for revenge against the flash.

I also think it would be interesting if Piper was in the first film as a bad guy, and slowly redeems himself over the course of what will (hopefully) be 3 films.

Heres a second (or third) try at casting the Rogues:

Mirror Master- Stephen Graham (Snatch, Gangs of New York, This is England)

Murmur- Christian Camargo ("Dexter")

Captain Cold- Peter Greene (Mask, Pulp Fiction, "The Black Donnellys)

Zoom- Kevin Bacon (Hollow Man, Death Sentence)

Pied Piper- Neil Patrick Harris ( "Doogey Howser, MD", Harol and Kumar)

Weather Wizard- Wentworth Miller ( "Prison Break")

Bradley Cooper for the Hunter Zolomon Zoom.
