Looks like Fox wins the most wasted release of the year award already.

Fox Double Dips 'Dodgeball' with Rated Blu-ray
In a rare double dip for the studio, Fox has announced it will re-issue 'Dodgeball' on Blu-ray this May in a "Rated" version.

Only basic tech specs have been confirmed, including 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and an English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround soundtrack.

There's no word yet on bonus features (if any), but we'll keep you posted.

Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99

Thats the most suspect part.

The thing thats really frustrating is that Fox has numerous catalog titles with mediocre transfers and literally zero extras and they choose to re-release a rated version of a movie that was basically just put onto the market. Shame on you Fox really dumb decision.

No. I know something is wrong with Fox :P

I was just wondering why the hell they feel like destroying everything. lol

I wouldn't say they feel like destroying everything. Just it seems they are lazy and half-ass everything and try to milk every cent they can out of a product instead of focusing on quality and hoping the money, time, and effort pays off.

As David Hayter said, he thinks that there's something up with Fox and it involves Satan.

No, they really do want to destroy everything. I mean, they've done it with many of their films, they are trying to do it with Wolverine and my hopes for Narnia are not high with Fox having some kind of input. *sighs* Fox is the suck.

Yes Fox sucks but your forgetting the part that people are going in droves to see their movies so why would they stop the main formula they have going now can you really fully blame them? From a business standpoint they are far from the suck.

And yeah I heard Wolverine is only like 90 minutes but it should still be a fun movie. Hopefully there will be an extended cut though.

Last year was the suck for them considering they came in last among the studios financially...I mean, their biggest his was Marley & Me. lol. This year they have Taken and Wolverine (which will end up being botched but be a big enough hit for them). If Wolvie underperforms, I think Rothman may finally get the boot. But, Wolvie underperforming will not happen.

Well hope Rothman gets booted regardless of Wolverine's success not a big fan of him.

So I went into Best Buy yesterday and they put out Let The Right One In early . They have done things like this before with Interview with the Vampire , Street Fighter , and a couple others. I've been waiting to watch this because I missed it last year and heard alot of good reviews. It's a cool movie and washes the stink of Twighlight away . It moves kind of slow and the english dub is weird . So i'd reccomend renting it.

Definitely the best foreign film last year and one of the best films of the year period. Can't wait to own it.
