That's their liquidation? I would figure things would be around 50% off. Oh well at least your satisfied and got some more movies in your collection. Don't know which ones you bought but you do have a lot of great discs in there. :yay:

I've bought all of them except Prince Caspian, Horton Hears a Who, Halloween, Diary of the Dead, Hellboy II, and the Matrix movies.

I'm still holding out on circuit city in hopes they will mark further down. 30 percent would be good but circuit city prices are still high . I went to best buy and got Fearless at $15. They also had some other titles for that price.

Can someone explain the regioning system for Blu-ray?

I'm in the UK - so I can't play USA Blu-ray on my UK Panasonic player, right?

Could I get round it by buying a USA Blu-ray player as well?

There are alot of Region free Blu-ray's out there which are ABC and play on any player. The US is Region A. The UK would be Region B. To check up on releases and their Region compatibility you can visit this site...

Yeah, I went to CC the other day and it was 30% off, still not good compared to other places I can get movies at. Hopefully it will get down to 50% off, in which I may select a few movies. It would be nicer at 60-90% off though. :oldrazz::woot:

But, I think game console accessories are like 40-50% off and that isn't so bad for people looking for a new controller or something.

I also like that the set includes the CG film from '07. I held off on buying the Blu-ray in case something like this would happen.

I hope the TMNT films are sold separately. I really only need to have the first one.

And Paramount has made official some catalog title releases.

Paramount Announces Catalog Titles for May
In an early alert to retailers, Paramount Home Entertainment revealed an impressive list of catalog titles they will be bringing to Blu-ray this May. As these are just retailer alerts, no technical specs or special features have been revealed for any of these titles, but you can expect the typical 1080p AVC video and Dolby TrueHD audio.

May 5th
* 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days: Deluxe Edition'
* 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'
* 'Grease'
* 'Saturday Night Fever'

May 12th
* 'Black Sheep'
* 'Major League'
* 'Wayne's World'
* 'Wayne's World 2'
* 'Without a Paddle'

Further Details:
Fox Home Entertainment has announced 2-disc DVD, 3-disc DVD and 3-disc Blu-ray releases of The Day The Earth Stood Still which stars Keanu Reaves and Jennifer Connelly. Each will be available to own from the 31st March. I'm afraid we have no word on extra material for any of these releases right now, but we'll bring you further details shortly. Stay tuned. For now though, here's our first look at the official art:

Yeah it looks like Fox is playing around with the new releases now. Marley and Me is going to have the Blu-ray, digital copy, AND the DVD.

I was just looking at my Blu-rays and I realized that I don't have that many from when I converted to the format back in August. Only 36. Thought I would be buying more. It's probably because I own so much on DVD and I ain't double dipping unless it's completely necessary. Here's what I own:
