What's you're opinion of the film?

i like it

Harrison Ford was at the top of his game in this as was Tommy Lee Jones (though i don't think Oscar worthy)

Always loved this movie and both Ford and Jones were outstanding in it, some of their best work by a long shot.

Yeah, it's a superb film. It's a movie you have to watch when it's on tv.

I DON'T CARE

[BLACKOUT]
Just kidding, I love it.[/BLACKOUT]

The Fugitive is a damn good film. Most of the current action thrillers don't seem to have the same integrity.

Excellent film.

It succeed where almost everyone else has failed; to sum up an entire TV series concept in one great movie without the need of sequels.

Harrison Ford's last great film.

Similar to Jaws or The Godfather, whenever I'm flipping channels and end up on this movie I can't stop watching it.

I don't see any Fugitive 2 written anywhere.
Richard Kimble story - the one of the TV series - was fully told.
That's just a spin-off that has nothing to do with the original TV series.

I liked U.S Marshalls, by the way. It was OK.

Fantastic film. One of my favorites in the genre, and yes... probably Harrison Ford's last truly great movie.

Love it! Very intelligent story, and a badass cast.

Sam Gerard FOR LIFE.

Great movie. Just watched it a few nights ago for the first time in years. What's that old saying? "They don't make 'em like they used to!" This movie is a perfect example of that.

"He just did a Peter Pan off into the water!"

"Where you at Desmondo?"

don't get yer knickers twisted, i was just bein a smart ass :)

that being said, by that logic ("no 'fugitive 2'"), The Dark Knight wouldn't be a sequel to Batman Begins.

"Spin Off" and "Sequel" are pretty much the same thing - a movie (or book, tv show, whatever) that continues the story of a character or characters that is produced after the original. A "spin off" is merely a sub-category...the "species" to a "genus" if you will.

In this case, US Marshalls is a sequel to The Fugitive because it continues the story of the said marshalls from the previous film. However, it can also be classified as a "spin off" because while the majority of the cast of characters are the same, the plot itself is not direct a continuation of The Fugitive.
