The Ghost Thread

I'll be poster more later.

I hate orb pictures.

Ditto.

Best of luck to you in your pursuits. I do not know if time of the day has anything to do with apparitions and the barriers between the worlds, but 3:00 A.M. is supposed to be a prime time for the supernatural. May 1st is an ideal date as well.

I don't know. I've heard the "unfinished business" theory, but I imagine everyone dies with unfinished business .. though I can see wanting to have a murderer avenged. I don't know, I just don't see that unfinished business or loving where you lived as plausible reasons for ghosts.

I suppose the unfinished business would just depend on the personality of the deceased/spirit. Depends on how easily they could "let go", so to speak.

No. Went to one in Whitby and a large portion of Bram Stoker's Dracula was set in Whitby so the guide told us all about the legend of Dracula and its historical influences
Thats awesome.

Eep, that's a pretty damn weird video. The dog seems really, really concerned...and there's no wagging of the tail.

I wouldn't live there :o

Someone has to post the Most Haunted "Mary loves Dick" vid

The vid I posted is messed.

Tell me about it, the last part with the child?
Freaked me right up, and it doesn't help that extremely loud fireworks are going on right at the pub down the road.

I have a few stories. My Grandmothers house was or I don't know, might be still haunted. When my mom was young she was going down stairs around 3am and she a young girl sitting on the chair combing her hair.
Also my mom and her sister was in the room and they heard stomps on the stairs. Another time my aunt her kids laughing in the house. I remember once I was sitting on the chair and I could have sworn I saw someone walk passed me. Not sure if I did see what I thought I saw. Could have been my imagination from the stories I heard.

only the poltergeist stuff is scary. and the little demon girl on the doorway.

you know you can rig that sort of stuff if you've got the time...

i'm not going to fully beleive until i see Slimer attack Bill Murray on live tv:cmad:

It's was only a matter of time before Slimer was meationed hahaha

I've had a lot of experiences with things moving.
For some reason I'm afraid to ask you what kind of things you've experienced moving....

Yeah, I don't talk about it all that much. For some reason, those experiences don't seem to me to be things I should broadcast.

That dog is so cute, but he doesn't really seem scared. More curious, and attentive. Seems like if he were scared he'd be barking and howling more. But what is that thing on the window supposed to be? There's a bar that goes up above the dog's head. Plus, the window goes from being transparent to opaque. But the dog seems more focused on the light.

And please change your scary av ... :(

And btw, since I started reading this thread, the wind has picked up and there's something squeaking outside my window. True.
