I've just seen this pilot and I was surprised. I was expecting to not like it at all due to the promos for it, but the pilot was a lot better than what it was promoted to be. I'm going to watch it now.

I came into this thread expecting a reality show about Bill Goldberg. I am somehow both relieved and disappointed.

Although I like Jeff Garlin, I don't see this show lasting.

Probably won't, but it's a good laugh. I say probably won't because most sitcoms on today center around a primarily adult cast whereas this series focuses more on the stories of a 10 year old kid and 15 year old brother. This worked really well in the past, but I'm unsure if the focus being on the kids can still bring in as many viewers as it did with Wonder Years. I'd say 'The Middle,' but the parents get a lot more focus in that than they do or did here in the pilot.

Could be good but I agree with the kids being the focus the series probably won't make it a whole season or if it does, a second season. I'm not against the premise but the general public is if Nielson ratings are anything to go by (which they shouldn't but that's a whole other topic).

This show is the Wonder Years meets Modern Family. It is quite good and should have been in the timeslot after Modern Family. Since it is a good show, ABC will pull it mid season.

Me too. I didn't think it would be as good as it is. I was expecting it to be more cheesy and ridiculous. It isn't the best sitcom but it certainly has earned it's stripes for recreating that 80's feel.

I just saw Episode 13 where they go to the video rental and I just caught an interesting error. They have a poster of 3p0 and r2 in the background. But that 3p0 and r2 is not from the star wars movies, but the Star Wars: Clone Wars show! hahaha There weren't any CG back then let alone the star wars clone wars show.
