Lady Gaga May Appear Alongside Rumors Of John Krasinski, Donald Glover & More

It’s time to get things started is right. The cast to the new “The Muppet” movie—spearheaded by star and superfan Jason Segel—is expanding. We’ve already been promised several celebrity cameos and now Production Weekly have tweeted out that myriad well-known actors have joined the growing ensemble. First and foremost is Paul Rudd who will evidently voice Walter The Muppet, the main new character (seen above with an iPhone) who stars alongside Segel and Amy Adams (Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones are already part of the cast). Evidently many more are joining including Jack Black, Donald Glover, Jane Lynch, Danny Trejo, Zach Galifianakis—who had been reported to be in negotiations a few weeks ago—though its unknown if their parts are those aforementioned celebrity cameos or actual a tangible part of the film’s plot (our guess is the former). Apparently that’s not all, and Prod Weekly is reporting (“hearing” which sounds just more like whispers) that Lady Gaga will be involved and that members of her entourage will include John Krasinski, Ed Helms and Eric Stonestreet (ABC’s “Modern Family&#8221.

Of course. Most actors grew up with the Muppets and would love to do a Muppet movie. A few of the actors already cast in the movie have already done Sesame Street.

Jane Lynch Not Attached to 'Muppets' Movie

Despite recent casting announcements made in the media earlier this week, Jane Lynch says she is not attached to Disney's upcoming Muppets movie.
'"I'm not doing the Muppets movie," Lynch said. "They haven't asked me. I would do it if they asked me."

I don't want the cameos to overshadow the Muppets themselves. Hopefully they'll do it right.

I'm still not happy that the Disney company bought the Muppets but at least they are still letting the Jim Henson company make the film and do their thing(Disney will just get all of the money lol)

Anyway I love the Muppets, grew up with all of the films and I love the television show too. I'd even go as far as saying the tv show is my favorite entity of the Muppets. Oh and I saw some kermit the frog footsie pyjamas in a store...I want a pair.
