Take a guess to where the next mass shooting will take place? I think we've had one this year so far.

How about back at San Bernardino?

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — A fire official says multiple people have been shot at an elementary school in San Bernardino.

San Bernardino County fire spokesman Eric Sherwin says the shooting happened Monday morning at the North Park School in San Bernardino.

Regwec beats me by a whole minute.

Why didn't that make national media attention?

black teacher, domestic violence

can't tie it to terrorism

and the establishment still loves to sweep domestic violence under the rug

At a certain point one must wonder if a particular culture is mature and measured enough, as a whole, to handle the responsibility of gun ownership.

Or if it can backslide and become less mature in some ways..

"We're coming for you."

Uh... Huh...

But we aren't supposed to think that this organization, it's members and those that are in ideological lock step within conservative circles are ****ing idiotic loons filled with paranoia?

They are also ignoring the devastation of Puerto Rico.

I'm in the market to get a gun soon. I'm all for gun rights with responsible ownership but until the dreaded day that never will happen because nobody is advocating taking everyone's guns away, I'm gonna have protection for my home.

No *wide media coverage. Excuse my lack of clarity.

Why isn't this a being covered in prime time night after night like Dylan Roof?

And this month, it's...*drum-roll*...Las Vegas!

Wow, at least 58 killed and more than 500 wounded this time. Congratulations, gun nuts, on successfully insisting that these recurrent tragedies are facilitated so that you can pursue your hobby.

When Sandy Hook happened, the gun debate was over. When kids died horribly and they decided that nope "muh 2nd 'mendment" was more important than the loss of human life, it was over. Done deal. Now we all get see the right blame the left for "politicizing a tragedy" (because it's never the right time to talk about gun control), and we all get to wait for the next massacre while nothing is done to curb the problem.

That's about it. I guess there will never be a massacre sufficiently outrageous and disgusting to cause the gun nuts to countenance being parted from their toys.

as someone from CT - who lives 15 min from Sandy Hook, my sister works the next town over, this is sadly true

Nope. Even if they suffer an attack personally, they will use it as evidence that only more guns are needed.

shameful.
I'm writing letters and making phone calls to my political representatives. I hope other folks do the same. And to contact these people more than once. Pressure them, shame them, I don't care.

Try arguing with someone who doesn't want gun control, period. It's like arguing with ****ing Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

And a bill easing restrictions on silencers is up for a vote in the House this week. The perfect timing.

The evil of the GOP and the NRA is so stunning to me. Well, not so much the evil as the fact that they don't remotely try to hide it from their constituents. AND that their constituents lap it all up in the name of trolling "*******s".

What's the argument on the good guy with the gun stopping this? I'd love to know. WHy the **** does this keep happening? At what point are we going to label the NRA the terrorist advocates they are.
