The Hangover Part III

Agreed. It's just pure and simple jealousy.

Yep you got me, I'm jealous completely jealous. Unbelievable, I mean really. That has to be one of the dumbest if not THE dumbest thing I've heard anyone say. I mean just wow, you people need to grow up for even thinking such stupid things. I hated it because I thought it was a terrible film, I hated just about everything in it. Same with this movie. I thought it was terrible. Absolutely terrible,. Why in God's beautiful green Earth would you focus a movie on you're two most worst, irritating, one dimensional, offensive characters when you have Bradley Cooper who is a better actor then all of them combined, miles and miles better than all of them. Zack Galalalafankis and Ken Jeong just need to stop. They are the same character in every single movie and they were never funny. Also I couldn't believe how tame this movie was. They're only a few short edits away from being pg-13 and it wouldn't even change the movie at all. This was beyond, beyond awful.

I don't think this will be the worst movie of 2013. There have already been some HORRIBLE and I do mean HORRIBLE comedy movies to come out this year. Like these

A Haunted House- I saw this in theaters and was PISSED at how unfunny and bad it was.

Movie 43 - Heard this was utter garbage and skipped it. Waste of such a huge cast of talented actors.

Inappropriate comedy- Haven't seen this movie and don't ever plan to. The reviews have said its WORST than movie 43. The jokes are unfunny and worst of all just down right racist and offensive.

Scary Movie 5- I also skipped this movie the trailers looked terrible and these movies clearly peaked after Scary Movie 2. Just a garbage movie all around.

So I still have hopes that Hangover 3 will not be as bad those garbage movies... I will see tonight.

A Haunted House and Movie 43 are just as bad, if not worse than Hangover 3 and Die Hard 5.

It's a damn shame, since the first Hangover was actually funny. Phillips was getting enough money thanks to his ownership stake in the first pic, but no... the big paycheck is what lured him back for the cash-ins that were Part 2 and Part 3.

so i am not planning on seeing this in the theaters can anyone tell me did they have a conclusive ending for any of the characters seeing as i've heard this will be the last Hangover movie.

So everything else is all right, but dark humor involving animals is too far?

There's a chance Todd Phillips actually enjoys making these films. I'm sure money is a big factor , but we can't say it's the only reason Todd is doing sequels.

I think it's cause Todd Phillips isn't a good director.. So you make a sequel(s) to your best film. It's only logical.

The end credit scene is another wake up scenario. However the tribute while they walk down the aisle for Alan's wedding suggests this is the end. Black Doug gets a conclusive ending after Goodman shoots him dead.

Apparently, Ken Jeung wants to do a Chow spin off..... I don't think that's a good idea considering he is already too over the top as it is. And going by the reviews for this.. It would definitely get bashed by critics and fans. I don't think I would even want to see a Chow spin off..

You could say that about any director that makes sequels. Good or bad is subjective.

I don't see how anyone thinks the end credit scene teases a 4th. I just took it as a scene they 'had' to do for a "Hangover" film.

Aside from Doug not being in the scene, it's pretty cut and dry what happened.

Went to see this....wish I didn't. Part I was decent but extremely overrated, Part II was complete garbage. However, I did enjoy Part I for what it was and was intrigued that Part III was going against the formula. Unfortunately, Part III sucked. Its gotten to where its hard for me to enjoy the original because the sequels made me hate these characters.

The ending isn't a tease at a fourth film. Its Todd Philips throwing the finger at critics:

This movie was great. I've never understood the hatred for II, I thought that film was funny as well and ramped up the stakes and scope. This film ramps up the stakes and scope once again to a whole new level and brings everything full circle in a way that - if you liked the first one, and if you liked the second one, and you are looking forward to a concrete conclusion this is definitely it.

Damn. I think I'm the only person in the world who actually liked Part II.

I enjoyed it well enough. I knew what I was getting going in that's why.

Damnit. I thought there was one, but we left the theater before it. Anyone care to share it with me?

I don't care what Philips says, it seems like WB demanded he do a coda for a sequel. Because money does talk in Hollywood... and mid- to post-credits scenes are a trend these days.

Phil, Stu, Alan and Alan's wife (Melissa McCarthy's character) wake up hung over in a hotel room. Stu realizes he has a boob job and wearing pink panties. Then Mr. Chow charges in stark naked, and the monkey from Part II jumps on Stu's shoulder.

I just read something on the internet that was a little different:

It said that they fade back and the house had virtually exploded, there's a motorcyle stuck thru a wall. Alan, Cassie, and Phil all wake up from the ground. Stu comes out talking about how he has **** all now and is freaking out. Phil asks what the hell happened and then Alan says something about Chow having sent the cake.

Well, I just writing the gist of the scene, I wasn't paying too much attention to the details. But that's true as well.

Both descriptions are pretty much the gist of what happened...

They wake up in Marshall's house which is a wreck. Phil, Alan, his wife and Stu are there. Stu has boobs. Chang shows up naked. It was Chang that drugged the wedding cake.

Or to just use both of them...

Just got back from seeing this with a packed crowd. I actually liked this movie! I was totally expecting it to be completely horrible but was pleasantly surprised. Here are my thoughts.

My likes

- The fact that the plot was diffrent from the previous movies.

- The movie had a nice sense of continuity. Meaning they didn't just ignore the events of part 2 even though mostly everyone hated it ( myself included). And I liked how they tied things together from the first movie.

- Alan and Mr. chow weren't as annoying or as over the top as people have been complaining about, at least in my opinion and provided some genuine laughs.

- Alan' s character development and him sorta maturing.

-
I liked the ending scene before Alan is about to get married and the talk he had with the guys. Also liked the flashback while they were walking down the hallway. Also I lol at the mid credit scene. It's a nod to fans and a huge middle finger to critics and people that hate these movies. But it's NOT a set up for a fourth movie. This is clearly the last with a nice sense of closure.

My Dislikes

- I didn't like that Phil and Stu and even Doug didn't get much to do. I mean Phil and Stu do stuff but its just kinda like they are there.

- Doug getting kidnapped again. But it can be forgiven really as Justin Bartha has zero chemistry with Bradley, Ed, Zach, and Ken.

- The fact that the movie felt rather tame and it wasn't nearly as funny as part 1. There were long streches of time were the humor didn't work or it only got a slight laughs.

Overall, I would give this a 7/10. It obvious Tod Phillps and the crew genuinely did put some effort into making this entry. And it's not the worst comedy to come out this year that honor would go to A Haunted House, Movie 43, or Scary Movie 5. Also, the crowd I saw it with seemed to love it.

This movie sucks as a trilogy. The Hangover is a decent comedy by itself. The sequels are really awful.

Making Alan basically the lead was bad because Alan's a horrible person and really unlikable. He belongs in a prison quite frankly. In the first movie as the supporting role it was kind of OK and it was set in Vegas.

Now learning all we know about Alan and what a disturbed individual he is . . . its just not funny anymore.

And I'm sorry, but nothing works about the second movie, AT ALL. In fact, I think Tracy is almost as horrible person as Alan because she acts like his door mat and lets him get away with ruining the lives of her friends and loved ones.

What a disappointment. Say what you will about the second film, but at least it was funny. The best jokes in this were all given away in the trailers.
