The Hangover

It's funny, I hated Cooper's character soooo much in Wedding Crashers yet I really liked him in this movie. I guess he's really got some talent after all. Hope he gets to do some more stuff.

I saw one of Bradley Cooper's earlier works on a show called "Globe Trekker."

I know that's what makes it so terrific. I think the newest GQ isue has him on the cover with the headline for him saying "That Guy From Wedding Crashers" :funny: It's like when you first watch it, you laugh 'cause it's like, "Ahhh man it's that *****e from Wedding Crashers" :hehe:

"John, you gotta go, you're gonna love it you're gonna love it!"

"No honey I'm fine! ****** gun* Right!?! ****** gun* Right!?!?! "*chuckles*

Now that's what I call a sack lunch!!!

Are you ready for the noise? You ready for the noise?

The what?

The noooooooooooise, brought on you.

That's not a Bradley quote, but a Wedding Crashers quote, and I felt like saying it.

Was that Asian dude wearing a prosthetic? Jeez, it looked like a McNugget stuck in Bob Ross' afro.

^I don't know cause I didn't stare at it long enough to tell.

^Mason's on vacation and Nikki's not great with projections. Plus Father's Day might give TH an edge over TP later in the weekend. Keep your finger's crossed.

I'll tryo to bring my dad to see this tomorrow for father's day. I need an excuse to see this.

I haven't seen The Proposal but surely can't be funnier then The Hangover? :facepalm

Yeah but a $26 million 3rd weekend ain't too shabby.

This is true. If I thought any movie would have ended it's run as number one, it would have been Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

The Proposal will be released in UK on 22nd July, for anyone's information...

It's actually quite sensational. If the estimates holds that means a drop of only 18%. And it also a little more than what the first Pirates of the Caribbean-movie made in its third weekend ($23,1 million). So the tendency is that The Hangover has even stronger legs than POTC. Suddenly not even $300 million feels impossible for this movie. But it depends on how it will be affected by the upcoming big movies.

From what I have read, The Hangover and Night at the Museum: Battle at the Smithsonian are going to pass Paul Blart: Mall Cop among the year's highest grossing movies.

I guess this makes The Hangover pretty much a lock to be the biggest R-rated comedy ever.

^Looks like it. Isn't Beverly Hills Cop the record holder right now?

You have to remember that $234,8 million in 1984 which BHC made is equal to making $482,1 million today. So in ticket sales there's no way for The Hangover to catch up with BHC

I'm a boxoffice nerd so I've been marveling at this movie's boxoffice run. I don't think that it will make 300mil because of Transformers but I totally see 270-280mil if it keeps performing amazingly.

Since The Hangover is an R-rated comedy it isn't really aimed at the same audience as the upcoming big kids-friendly movies like Transformers, Ice Age and Harry Potter, so the question is if these movies really will affect The Hangover that much.
