I would be interested in getting your feedback for a project I'm working on for two of my classes. For a web design course, I must create a web site (pretty standard and straight forward). I decided to create a fictional cable company called The Hero Channel, which plays superhero-themed content (there is also programming for real life heroes). The logo I created for the website will be used to fulfill an assignment for my graphic design class too (which was to simply create a logo). I'm a kill-two-birds-with-one-stone kinda guy.

Here are my 3 final prototypes. Your thoughts and critiques are greatly appreciated!

The Red and Yellow. It's a little silver-agey, but you want that kind of color in a network logo, to identify it at something dynamic. Especially if you're talking about real life heroes, you don't want to go all Matrix/2000's X-Men. Bright, almost hopeful sounds like the station's message, so the last logo seems to fit better.

Thanks for the feedback! It seems most folks I've shown these to have selected the second and third (most selecting the second - gold background with no gradient). My brother, a comic book super enthusiast, selected the third. He said it looked the most iconic. It's interesting that feedback from the enthusiasts is the last logo.

Anything you would do differently in terms of color or font?
