I don't see why we can't have them in (in some way). The audience might not know who they are, but that didn't stop X-Men doing it. They can always ask. You don't have to give them a big role or even have them talk, just notice them battling away against some of Thanos's army.

Ghost Rider and Blade showing up for a cameo would be great. Some of the audience might recognise them. With Moon Knight it would be more like these X-Men cameos where most of the audience don't even know the characters so it makes no difference to them.

Just have all of them show up. Do a sequence where most of them can be thrown around rag doll style by Thanos while some gets a few hits here & there. Followed by some more throwing around

The Avengers, The Defenders, The GOTG, the various other heroes of Earth (Falcon, War Machine, etc), perhaps elements of the Nova Corps, The Kree, the remnants of SHIELD, The Asgardians, oh and Loki will help out to save his own ass.

Thanos, his Black Order, whatever cannon fodder that he's assembled, perhaps even a possessed Red Skull.

Oh, and I'm also really curious if Loki will appear in either part of Avengers 3, considering that he has actually worked for Thanos before.

Honestly, Loki is easily one of the most popular characters in the MCU right now. When you stop and realize that we are likely not seeing him again until Thor 3, I'd have to imagine that Marvel will make sure that he plays a part in Infinity War. Also, due to the fact that he has a past with Thanos, I'm betting that he plays a key role in one way or another.

That aside, I'm pretty well convinced that every MCU hero character that has appeared and is still alive from both cinema and tv will make at least a small cameo in the Infinity War. For some of them, it may just be a quick scene to show us how the war is being fought "at home" while the main event occurs off earth. Not sure how they will play it, but I have long thought that this is the only way to top the spectacle of bringing all of the solo film heroes together in the first Avengers feature.

I agree. It'd be epic either way, but I'd love to see Loki fighting alongside the Avengers. Chances are probably against that though.

I actually would be surprised if Loki was legitimately on Thanos' side. After TDW you can tell that Loki is only truly interested in his own gain, but still cares for Thor on some level. I expect he'll have some mischief up his sleeves again, but it will probably work in The Avengers' favor.

Yup. In the end, considering the popularity of Loki in the MCU and the history with Thanos, I think that it satisfies the fans AND plays into the overall story to have Loki's role be in favor of our heroes... and NOT The Mad Titan.

Ahaha I don't think any of the Avengers would be too pleased with fighting alongside Loki (except maayybe Thor).
And yeah, drod1985 and HeyBear, I can see how that could work. I don't think I'd be surprised either, even if I'd expect Loki to double-cross someone somewhere. Anyways, Loki working with the heroes - I wanna see it! t:

I'd actually be more interested in Loki's reaction! Somebody that he killed actually beat death. That'll come as quite a shock, especially for Loki.

They can't. But it would be like Thor working with him in Thor: TDW. They would be forced to work with him out of necessity.

Maybe Coulson will find himself alongside Loki and Ward. Who does he trust more?
