Ok this thread is basically just to say either how you think the films would or should play out?

You can also choose to make a fantasy plot line that you know is highly unlikely but it's what you would like.

Here's how I think the films would go let me know what you guys liked or disliked about my synopsis of both films.

I hope the Infinity War films play out more or less just like the Infinity gauntlet storyline from the comic. Infinity War pt1: Cap dies in Civil War, Thor dies in Ragnarok, and all the other dead (you know who I'm talking about) gets brought back to life by the Time Gem or Adam Warlock's Soul Gem. Thanos gets the Time, Soul and Mind Gem from The Avengers. Infinity War pt2: Cap's back, Thor's back and other dead are back, Iron Man comes out of retirement after he see's Cap is alive again. The main team go and take on Thanos in space while the street level team, (Daredevil, IronFist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Agents of Shield) fight Thanos's army on earth.

Up in Space we see the most epic, incredible battle ever and the Avengers are getting steamrollered Thanos isn't even trying, it's literally like Goku Super Saiyain God vs a bunch of ants. Thanos then proceeds to kill every Avenger, hero and Guardian of the Galaxy alike. Captain America is the only one left standing and Thanos is shocked by Cap not crying or feeling angry about the death on all his friends and comrades. He says he is scared, he's terrified, he's furious but first and foremost he's a soldier and he'll do anything to win. Cap picks up Thor's hammer and fights Thanos Hammer And Shield, he puts up a decent fight until he realises Thanos was just humouring him. He knocks the Hammer out of his hand and cap defends himself with the Shield. Thanos punches the **** out of the shield and breaks it into pieces. Then he kills Cap. The only two people alive are Adam Warlock and Doctor Strange, who are watching from a distance. Doctor Strange wanted to help The Avengers but Warlock wouldn't let him, Warlock allows Strange to strike to take the Gaunlet from Thanos but Thanos was ready and kills Strange. Then the Cosmic Entities (introduced in Guardians 2 and Captain Marvel hopefully) come to take on Thanos, Thanos destroys or captures them all. The only people standing are Warlock, Death, Thanos himself, Loki............and Nebula who is Thanos's prisoner, when Thanos was careless and thought he'd won, during a conversation with Warlock who was trying to stop Thanos with his words, Nebula steals the gauntlet and reveress everything Thanos did. Everyone is alive and Thanos is confused about how this just happened. How he could be so careless. Warlock explains that Thanos himself knew he was too powerful and subconsciously allowed himself to fail, he knew the power was too much even for him to have for all eternity. And Then all the heroes including Loki who thought Thanos had gone too far attack a Gauntletless Thanos at the same time and destroy him.

A little something like that would be cool....

Unless death changes them - I don't like the idea of everything being undone, the heroes brought back to life etc.

Thats what happens in the comics though? And the Infinity Gauntlet is the perfect excuse to bring them back.

Starlin likes to go the epic metaphysical route in stories, and it looks better on paper. Onscreen it comes off as a cheap deus ex machina.

So no one dies then? Or like 2 people die just so they can stay dead? Yeah Thanos is real scary....
The point of them all dying is to showcase just how no nonsense and powerful Thanos is, this has been building since Avengers 1, you can't have lame deaths like Coulson and Quicksilver.

They did everyone dies then it gets reversed in X-Men DOFP and no one had a brain aneurism.

If you're talking about Thanos losing because of his subconscious that is the perfect way he should lose without him looking weak, he's his own worst enemy and it hasn't been done in any of the other films.

How would you have Thanos lose? Iron Man takes the Gauntlet when he wasn't looking and blast him away? Oh the almighty Thanos.

No, leave Thanos's victims dead. As a viewer, I find the smaller, more personal acts of cruelty leave a greater impression when it comes to how evil a character should be. Its better if that evilness is symptomatic of some greater, underlying issue. I'd like to see that with Thanos.

Be warned. This is quite a bit of reading. I had to shorten it down from what I originally had. ESPECIALLY the dailougue and the battle scenes. Because well to do mine we must first go back to Civil War.

In Civil War, Cap is arrested for hiding a criminal. Not forever but he must do the time he deserves. Ross becomes Red Hulk in the after credits. He uses this new power to go out and search the world to find the Hulk as well as establish himself as a better hero. This can be teased and shown in Agents of SHIELD, a One Shot or even just talked about on the news in one of the films or that youtube News Channel for the MCU.

In Gaurdians 2, the Gaurdians team up with Adam Warlock a strange alien man to stop his evil side Magus(who escaped from Warlocks body when he was prematurely awoken and weak in the first GotG) from getting the gem. When the final confrontation comes to a ship comes overhead. Thanos drops down and beats both Magus and the Gaurdians sensless. When they are all down, he monologues "First Gaurdians, next the Avengers To Earth" He takes the gem and leaves the planet for the next.

Thor Ragnarok: In Ragnarok Thor and his allies rally to stop Loki who has gone crazy with the Odin Force. Thor manages to do it with help(yes Hulk appears at somepoint in the film as well). Thor becomes the new King of Asgard when Odin dies. The Odin Force goes into Thor and he remains in Asgard to protect the throne. In the after credits Thanos attacks Asgard beats the gaurds of the Aether and takes it. He uses its power to hold of Thor and manages to escape. Thor tell Heimdall to help him track Thanos through the cosmos.

Infinity War: Part 1

Opening: Shows A Monologue Done By The Watcher(Voiced By Patrick Stewart)

Thanos goes across the Galaxy devasting the Nova Corps and several other places for the Infinity Stones. And now he is coming to Earth.

It also shows the Avengers have resumed activity since Civil War and are busting evil villains. Perhaps a quick throwaway giant robot. Ross now with the strength of the Hulk and his military training believes himself to be the superior hero. He challenges the Avengers drawing them out by attacking them in their base. The Red Hulk is actually managing to overpower the Avengers. Until suddenly a meteor alert is coming towards the city. The Avengers and Rulk must team up to stop it. Red Hulk says this is not his problem and leaves stating he'll be back for the Avengers. He really goes and turns back to Ross in order to help protect the world with the army and hide his identity. But this is not a meteor its the ship for Thanos. Thanos literally jumps out of the ship and uses the stones he has to whip the Avengers asses. His strength power and mind unparalleled he hands them their butts. He walks up to Vision who resists and rips the stone out of his forhead in a very painful and gruesome manner and the Avengers are powerless to stop him.

Now with all the almost all the stones the Avengers fear they cannot stop him. Thanos prepares to destroy the Earth for the trouble the Avengers caused him slowly and begins. Disaster occur everywhere and Earth slowly begins to fall apart. They stare at Visions dead body in their base. Only a few Avengers remain. Iron Man. Black Widow, Black Panther(New Recruit), Vision, and War Machine.

The others were arrested during the events of Civil War for being associated with helping Cap hide Bucky. Bucky is in jail and frewuently undergoes intense therapy sessions to help him regain his mental stability. The world threat is immenent. The Avengers call in a favor from Fury. Fury has Maria Hill and the rest of SHIELD convince the government to let the heroes out. They also call in every other hero they can find. Together Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Falcon, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, and Ant-Man as well as his new hero partner who took over as a hero while he was in jail for helping Cap, The Wasp come together to formulate a plan on how to stop Thanos.

Suddenly Magus comes back and challenges Thanos to a battle. It is an intense battle and Thanos holds back at first allowing Magus to get a few good hits bit eventually Thanos overpowers him and Magus falls to Earth after being defeated. Suddenly when all hope seems lost Thor and Hulk come back from Asgard. Thor using the Odin Force and Hulk with all his rage begin to wreck Thanos. But he smiles, he was toying with them and proceeds to swat them aside like he did Magus. Showing the fallen heroes to Earth he throws them down onto the planet. Thanos continues with his plan to destroy the Earth.

In the after credits Thor and Hulk(who has reverted to Banner) show up at the Avengers base. And Thor says to them

"We will need all the strength we can muster to beat this monstousity" and falls.
(Ant-Man and The Wasp as well as Black Panther take place before the Infinity War films)

Captain Marvel-
The first 30-40 minutes of the film tells the story of Carol Danvers and her rise in the ranks as an Agent of SWORD as well as some background on SWORD and its place in the current world. It was a subdivision of SHIELD for but when SHIELD fell SWORD took its place.

The next minutes tell the story of the rise and fall of the Kree empire as well as giving some backstory on Thanos and more detail on the Infinity Gems.

Carol Danvers is a SWORD agent and Captain of the main division. They attempt to stall Thanos. However Thanos is already dealing with another army, The army of another race he thought he destroyed. The Kree, they're top general Captain Mar- Vell is leading the asault. Sword and the Kree both have similar objectives, Captain Mar-Vell and Carol Danvers make an agreement mid battle to help each other. They all go after Thanos. However he easily dispatches of the Kree warriors and SWORD agents alike. In a motion of his finger he wipe put a large majority of the Kree ships. Leaving only a handful left. He turns his attention Mar-Vell and monologues about how like the Earthling his species will soon be extinct. Mar-Vell makes one last stand but gets blasted into oblivion. Carol is right behind Mar-Vell and his almost gas like remains cover her body. Thanos laughs and goes for Carol but she lifts her hand ordering him to stay away and a blast of energy sends Thanos flying into space. Surprised yet terrified of what Thanos will do she quickly grabs a ship and heads back to Earth. Meanwhile Thanos is utterly furious and speeds up the destruction of Earth process. Even giving a speech, about how heroes always fall and the Earths heroes are no different. The ship crashlands and when it opens Carol is greeted by Captain America and Iron Man themselves. In the after credits. Another ship is shown entering the area near Earth.

Hawkeye: "More Kree? Thanos's back up? I'm tired of the aliens"

Black Panther is at the computer: "From what the scans can tell. There are unknown species on the ship as well as a human"

Zooming out we see the Milano and Starlords with his crew as well as Adam Warlock.

Starlord: Thanos we're coming for you. Let's find those...what are they called? Avengers.

Infinity War: Part 2-
The Watcher continues to narrate the intro showing Thanos continuing his destruction of the Earth. The Earth itself has mere hours before Thanos completely annihilates it.

Carols injuries are treated and she undergoes a test for her new abilities with Cap in a training room. She states how she wants to get revenge on Thanos and will use the powers she has to do so. She easily manages to mix her newfound power and strength with her already known combat training from being a SWORD agent, She dubs herself Captain Marvel after the alien that died trying to help her save the Earth. Captain America expresses he is happy to have another Captain on the team. Stark, Banner, and T'Challa work on repairing Vision. Stark outfits him with a new replacement for the soul gem. A solar powered crystal that can store energy and release it like a laser as well. The reboot of his system begins.

Outside there is complete and utter chaos. The Defenders are dealing with crazed criminals thinking its the end of the world and breaking into stores and trying to kill people. Agents of SHIELD also try to buy time. Fury reveals Coulson is alive, much to the shock and awe of the Avengers, meanwhile Spider-Man is wondering trying to figure out who Coulson is in a rather funny manner of asking everyone. He gets the same answer "Read the files". As Fury calls in all the Agents hoping he can trust them even if they're hydra to protect the Earth. The Hellicarrier has been fitted with air tight lock and travels into space. The Agents attack Thanos with a larger version of the Destroyer Canon Coulson built. It manages to catch Thanos offgaurd and destroy his ship. But Fury knows this is only temporary.

Meanwhile the Milano lands on the front yard of the Avengers base. Everyone goes outside ready to fight just incase and Starlord steps out with the Gaurdians and Warlock.

"I'd ask if you were the Avengers but the giant A on your base says it all." Quill says.

They exchange dailogue and Iron Man, Cap and Starlord talk about the threat Thanos poses. Both are aware and agree to team up. Stark invites the Gaurdians inside for a run down of his plan. He built another Infinity Gauntlet a counter Gauntlet. Everytime Thanos uses his gauntlet it will absorb the power of the gauntlet a bit until the gems are drained. He can then give Thanos a taste of his own medicine. But the crew has to fight Thanos and get him to use the gauntlet. Iron Man replaces on of his Repolsur gauntlets with his artificial Infinity Gauntlet. Vision awakens just in time. Reboot complete he comes back. He apolgizes for letting Thanos take the gem. But Stark says it's not his fault. What's important is that they stop Thanos.

The SHIELD agents outfitted with space suits storm Thanos with this Destroyer technology but this only angers him further as he wipes out the entire. Fleet and greatly damages the ship Fury orders one last full power blast to Thanos and it does nothing and Thanos prepares to destroy the Helicarrier.

However at the last minute the Avengers come in a tricked out Quinjet(for space) and the Gaurdians in the Milano. Thanos reapairs his ship as a battle ground and smiles. He is so glad the Avengers have finally come to fight, hat he wants it to last. The Earth is on it's last legs. Thanos decides not to use all of his Infinity power and fights all the Avengers and Gaurdians. They go all out attacking him from all ends, Thanos has the upper hand but the Cap gives a signal and things get difficult. The attacks are stronger and more coordinated. Less predicatable. Hulk, Groot, and Thor corner Thanos and pummel him into the ground. Annoyed Thanos begins to uses the gauntlet. Iron Man gauntlet recognizes the energy (thanks to scanning visions stone long before) and begins to absorb the power from them. Thanos does not realize because the energy being absorbed is transparent and not visible as he wipes the floor with the Avengers and Gaurdians smacking he grabs Iron Man and rips the arc reactor out his suit the steps on his chest killing him, he alsodestroys Groot. He immediately reverts Hulk to Banner and switches his attention as he uses Thors on hammer to beat Thor to death. And drops it. All the other Avengers and Gaurdians get they're hits in but are dispatched easily. Even Scalet Witches mind manipulation and Strangers mystical arts prove nothing to Thanos. He looks at Spider-Man who takes several powerful hits but refuses to stay down. He grabs the Gauntlet off Iron Man and puts it on. Thanos prepares to finish Spider-Man.

Cap steps in front of him and he and Thanos grill each other. And gives a speech to Thanos. Thanos is insulted, enraged and tired of them smacks Cap's shield breaking it then swats him aside, Cap refuses to stay down. Saying Thanos could learn a thing or two from Spider-Man. He picks up Thors hammer which he landed next to and yells Avengers Assemble. Telling them that this is the moment they've been training for, this is where they give it their all and or die trying. Cap uses Thor hammer and gives Thanos a short beating but is soon over powered, Thanos disintegrates the Hammer. He then grabs Cap by the head and crushes him into the ground. Everyone looks shocked to see Cap fall. War Machines scans show no signs of life. Drax comes up to catch Thanos offgaurd and is successful in hitting him. Much to Thanos's disbelief. He tries to use the Gauntlet but the Gems are all grey. Starks artificial gauntlet works. Furious Thanos runs at Spider-Man. But Peter blasts him with the power of his Gauntlet and everyone helps delivering a final blow to Thanos.

Drax picks up his blade and tries to kill Thanos but Spider-Man encourages him not to, because he knows how it feels to want to kill the man who took family away. It's not worth it. Drax decides Thanos must be tortured, death is to good. Thor agrees to arrange that for Drax. Peter uses the Gauntlet to repair the damage Thanos has done to the Earth and the lives he has taken. Cap and Stark stand up the SWORD and SHIELD agents are revived and back on Earth.

As well as the Kree and Captain Mar-Vell. Mar-Vell thanks Carol and the heroes. The Kree promise to leave Earth out of their conquest path due to this. On Earth the heroes celebrate. The world celebrates, this is a massive victory. Gaurdians go back into space after the party and recieve radio device that allows them to contact the Avengers and Vice Versa if needed. Groot is regenerating in a pot again. Magus is taken to the Nova Corps. The heroes who saved the world are excused from their jail sentences. Carol continues her work at SWORD as well as occasionally working for the Avengers.

In Asgard Thor has sent Thanos to Hell to be tormented for eternity. The New and Old Avengers form a worldwide organization for protecting the world.

In The Mid Credits, The Watcher talks of how the Avengers and Gaurdians will be known throughout the Universe and their legacy will live on. However this isn't the last of the threats to come.
(If They Get The Rights Back To FF)

The eyes of Doom are shown and fade into dark purple zooming out to show Galactus.

In The After Credits the shake up caused by Thanos has awoken the Inhumans and their leader Black Bolt does not look very happy about it.

-In Alternate Versions Both Iron Man and Cap stay dead. Because Starks Gauntlet Only Has Enough Energy Left For One More Thing According To Thor, And He Uses It To Fix The Earth Instead of Bringing Everyone Back To Life, After The Gems Turn To Dust.

So those of you who read. What do you think. Give me an analysis. A detailed one too. Make it brutal or nice whichever you want. I just want feedback. Thats what I come to the Hype for!

I like most of it very nice stuff there, of course there are a few things I don't agree with. I'll bulletpoint them.

-SONY'S Spider-Man getting the final blow or at least the winning move on Thanos and Marvel's 2 biggest heroes Iron Man and Cap dying? Not likely. Also I don't really like this, I believe everyone should die apart from maybe Dr Strange and Adam Warlock because they have cosmic awareness. Cap should be the last man standing. I can't see a fight against Thanos where Drax is still alive and Cap is dead.

-Too much time spent of earth in part 2, they need to be in space for the final battle imo also Thanos cares about earth too much in this.

-Thanos didn't freeze time and mention how he would fight without his cosmic awareness to make the fight more fun because he could literally blink them all out of all existence.

-Tony is an ultra smart guy yes but to create something on earth that could harness the power of the Infinity Stones? Even with data from the mind stone i can't suspend my disbelief enough to find that believable, he couldn't even create a interface for Ultron with the mind stone, in some ways Ultron created himself, Tony just gave him a platform and an idea. If there's gonna be another gauntlet to counter Thanos it'll be the one from Asgard, infact this is highly likely to happen because during a press conference with Kevin Feige and that d'something guy, the guy asked "what makes you think there's only one gauntlet?" and Kevin looked like he wanted to smack him. I think The Gauntlet in Odins vault is highly likely to be the one they use to stop Thanos, I hope it's not though because that's boring. But for your idea it would've made more sense if you used that.

-What's Adam Warlock doing in all this? Seems like he's just a body rather than a leader. I think Fury should die and Adam should be doing the role Fury is doing in this. But that's just my fantasy.

-Vison had the mind stone not the soul stone.

-What happened with the sokovia accords? Are superheroes registered with the government now? was Cap and Bucky given life sentances? I know this is trivial but it's interesting.

That's the problems i had the rest was all good interesting stuff. I really especially love your Captain Marvel movie and her working for SWORD I actually want to see your version of the movie now, really good ideas there. Your infinity War is too much earthy stuff, I think it should stick a bit closer to the starling comics and if I'm pushing it maybe get the celestials and cosmic entities involved but realistically we could still have them fight in space. And we need someone to come to earth and basically say Thanos is coming, Thanos is coming in Infinity War 1.

1. Good, point. I assumed that if Marvel got a big success with Sony they'd allow him to be handle closer by Marvel as fear of Marvel cancelling the deal and leaving Spider-Man on his own legs(eh, get it, see what I did there? :D). Anyways, still not likely as you said. There are plenty of more appropriate characters to deliver that final blow. To see all of them die would be nice(like in a sense of making the heroes seem weaker compared Thanos). And I actually did go into a quick writing frenzy where everyone was killed but I thought it was just a bit too much. Especially for the kids who will be watching this. People can die, but everyone dying just felt too dark. Then again, darkness is needed for this kind of grand finish.
2. Oh yeah, Ik, I just couldn't think of any ways for the Avengers to come into space earlier. Because the Gaurdians had to get their first and be alerted of their plan. But I too would like to see more time spent in space in the actual films.

3. Oh yeah that. He still did it, I said "Thanos decides not to use all of his Infinity power and fights all the Avengers and Gaurdians." that means no cosmic awarness either.

4. Okay, thats my biggest blunder. I wrote the ENTIRE thing finished and as I read through it remembered there was another gauntlet in Odins vault. I tried my hardest to ignore that :funny: It would be nice to see the Avengers transported to Asgard to get it.

5. Oh well, he became a new member of the Gaurdians to help stop Magus and Thanos. He's more of a warrior her than anything kinda like Thor. I thought I'd take some liberties. As the MCU always takes some.

6. Goddamit. Thank you. :funny:

7. The Sokovia Accords are still there. The Avengers are a government organization now. I figure it doesn't really make much of a difference here because this is world threatening case. Due to the heroics they've done and the fact that Bucky was a war hero before he became WS. None of Caps side was given life sentences. Simply a year. Except Bucky he would remain in jail until his therapy is complete(to make sure his mental issues are stable). I figure it doesn't really make much of a difference here because this is world threatening case. Due to saving the world here, that was all forgotten.

8. I liked doing the Captain Marvel thing too. I know they Marvel has the celestials. I dunno, if all the cosmic entities can actually appear here. Not sure if Marvel retains all those rights and even then. Only so much you can do in two films. Unless they're longer than the average on the count of being like a grand finale. On the "Thanos is Coming" thing. Yes that would send chills down my spine.

Anyways that was fun. Thanks for the feedback. :D

I would have the first Infinity War movie be modeled after Thanos Quest and the first part of the Infinity Gauntlet. The movie would have Thanos going around collecting the gems, him snapping his fingers and killing off half of the universe. The ending of the film would show the destruction and the heroes trying to rescue people.

The second Infinity War movie would consist of the remaining heroes assembling to defeat Thanos like the rest of the Infinity Gauntlet series.

That's what I would like to see.

Easily doable in two films, follows the comics, I like it.

To be honest your version is probably close to what will actually happen unfortunately, i say unfortunately not because your version is bad but I just want a lot more from Infinity War, I want them to go crazy with it, show us some epic moments from the Infinity Gauntlet comic, doesn't have to follow it beat for beat but just have some of the best moments and give us the same end of world doom gloom feeling.

Um what IW 1 and 2 Plot outline should i post anyone give me ideas? Help prehaps?

Maybe i write something more later, but i think you have to think about two solutions:

1. Almost nobody (of the superheroes) are dying

-> that is the most likely case, as they can not go on with Iron Man, Captain America and Thor (and maybe more) are dead.
Of couse, you could kill off one of them, maybe Captain America/Falcon and Winter Soldier, maybe Iron Man and Warmachine, maybe just Thor, maybe just Vision - BUT you can not kill many...

2. Almost all of them will die, but just in the way like "winner takes it all"

-> build-up would be "You can kill anybody as long as we win at the end (and can bring back all of them with the infinity stones)"

The second one would be the case i prefer. You have no problem to bring back the heroes, as it is clear from the beginning, that it is just a fight for the victory.
Every viewer knows, what the deal is... and the winner takes it all!

What kind of stakes are we talking with your second proposal? Winner takes the stones?

7 years in, Marvel has never modeled an entire movie off of a comic book. They take different elements from various storylines in the comics. AOU, for example had nothing to do with time travel. It makes things far too predictable and limits a director's creative vision. Wjy on earth would you watch a movie if you know what's going to happen. Besides, having Thanos as the main character wouldn't make sense in a movie titled "Avengers." I don't know about you, but in an Avengers movie, I expect it to be about The Avengers.
