Obie Trice's Bottoms Up is great. Pleasently surprised that he hasn't missed a step in his seperation from Shady.
Can't wait to get my hands on that album.

Unfortunately, the song I was looking forward to the most was the most disappointing IMO....."Richard" ft Eminem
Without sounding like a dick (no pun), what did you expect from that song title, especially after the past year of awful Eminem material?
I like the beat tbh.
shabazz palaces is out now, Butterfly from Digable Planets is back--
on the sub pop label no less. neat.

Well since Eminem did do a good job with his Hell:The Sequel with Royce, I was hoping that at the very least his flow would be entertaining but he was completely lazy on this song.
Kanye West - Mercy ft. Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz

I want to know where the hell does Kanye find his samples.
I thought Eminem was almost uniformly awful throughout Hell: The Sequel. The only song I like on that is The Reunion.
Yeah, I hate to say it, as Eminem is my favorite emcee of all time, but his last couple of guest verses are annoying as hell. He just keeps rapping about fast food and nonsense and is always yelling. I hope he doesn't ruin the Slaughterhouse album.

Indeed. Sick of hearing him being stingy at the drive-through. I expect to hear "Perhaps I ran them punchlines into the ground" on his next album.![]()
Lol too true but I honestly think that if he fused the good qualities that Hell:The Sequel, Recovery, and Relapse had he'd atleast make a solid album for this point in his career.
I think Mercy is kinda meh/bad. Especially considered all the talen on the label and the song itself
I like Shabazz Palaces as well. Black Up is great.
I got into Asap Rocky associate SpaceGhostPurrp recentley. No Evidence and Lustful as great.
I'm willing to bet that Eminem's guest verses on the Slaughterhouse album will be dirty. You can say that he's garbage, but at least he demonstrates master lyricism and cohesive thoughts with his rhymes. He still does so much that other rapper cannot duplicate.
As far as now, I'm feeling ASAP Rocky. 'Goldie' feels like a spring/summer anthem.
