How come there isn't a separate forum for the upcoming Hobbit movies? It seems a lot more popular then something like The Green Hornet is.

The Hobbit isn't a comic-book/superhero property.

Boom, there is a graphic novel of The Hobbit...

So? The graphic novel isn't the primary text.

Plenty of novels have been adapted to graphic novels. Should those get forums as well?

The Green Hornet forum probably should be closed though, Movie's out, DVD's out, there won't be any real activity there anymore.

There was activity there? I would also agree to not having a LOTR or Hobbit Forum, they aren't comic book properties.

LOTR is a literary work, not a comic based properties. Harry Potter didn't have a subforum and I'd wager that LOTR will not either.

You should make a forum for 'Non-comic book properties' and include sub-forums for middle earth / Harry Potter.

Why exactly does Transformers have a forum?

Because Marvel made their comics for years and now they are under another publishers banner. If you don't like the situation too bad.

Harry Potter will be over soon and The Hobbit gets plenty of attention in its own thread.

This site and in turn these forums are purely for Comic Book Properties.
