AHS Season 2 just needed to kick out the aliens and some of the religious stuff. Everything else was good though. Overall, I enjoyed it but the aliens really ruined a lot of it. The religious stuff was alright. It should of been the slasher, asylum craziness, and Nazi experiments.

The People Under the Stairs
The Haunting
Paperhouse

Don't watch 13 Ghosts, it really really sucks. I say that as a huge Tony Shalhoub fan.

Just watched the recent release Warm Bodies.

I've had the DVD for over a month from Netflix, and I kept delaying watching it. It isn't a Horror film...but more of a teen fantasy romance/comedy with a zombie theme (I think it's based on a novel). However, it actually turned out much, much better than I was expecting. The CGI was pretty awful...looked like a video game from about 10 years ago. But the movie itself was pretty cute and wasn't overly comedic. There was a little more action that I thought there'd be. This isn't to say that it is an awesome film for Horror fans...just that I liked it more than Twilight.

The movie was a financial success (and is Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes). The other "OMG, it's the New Twilight" movies have all been DISASTROUS failures at the box office. My guess is that the Twilight crowd didn't want any more Horror films aimed at them because it just seemed like rip-offs, so they preferred the sci-fi take of Hunger Games.

What are your folks opinions on the film adaptation of The Mist?

My dad hated the ending but my mother loved it.

The Mist gets discussed here a lot. Most people seem to think it's a modern classic. I did not like it.

The Mist was fantastic imo. That ending was so shocking and took a lot of balls to do. Stephen King loved the ending of the movie and even said that he wished that he'd thought of it when writing the book.

Think I'm going to do The Mist tonight for my horror film a night I'm starting until Halloween. Needed a starting point and that seems good. May do the black and white version for the first time.

I really enjoyed The Mist, the ending was pretty shocking and spectacular. I'd probably give it a 7.5.

I might have to give this film a second chance. I didn't like it that much the first time around. Unfortunately the horror genre has been so lame these past few years that The Mist might stand out for it's quality.

I picked up The Walking Dead season 3 on blu ray. I might do a marathon for labor day since I'm off Monday

I am so sad right now. I just saw that Hell Night is no longer streaming on Netflix.

Neither are the F13th films. I was gonna watch them all for Halloween.

I watched Hell Night two years ago and was hoping to watch it again soon an recommend it to people here. Oh well.

Black and White is the only way I'll watch it.

The Mist was okay in my humble opinion. The acting felt subpar at times, the CGI was hit and miss. It could have been so much better. I would give this film a 6/10.

Marcia Gay Harden was fantastic as the creepy religious nut.

They may return. Netflix cycles what they stream off and on. I have no idea what the conditions are for what gets yanked while other content stays up but they do return them to streaming unless it's a license thing where they no longer are legally able to stream them. Like Viacom with it's Amazon exclusive deal or WB stuff when Warners decided to do their own streaming service exclusively. Same with Universal/MGM deal expiring and Starz a few years back.

I don't know I think director just James Wan likes creepy dolls

Apparently a raggedy ann doll was a part of the "real" story, and the film makers decided to make a creepier doll for the movie.
