It's not really a horror movie for the most part. But I think the alien abduction in Fire in the Sky was pretty freaky.

Heads up to fans of Tell Tales Walking Dead game, while their full sequel isn't out until the fall or later they are releasing "400 Days" on the Play Station Network tomorrow and other platforms over the next few weeks.

I work at Walmart in the Electronics department. Half an hour before I got off work, a very attractive woman comes up to the counter.

Woman: "Hi. Are you able to look up if you have a movie?"
Me: "Sure. Which movie are you looking for?
Woman: "Do you have High Tension? I love that movie.
Me: *head explodes*

I liked French supernatural zombie show Les revenants (The Returned).

Yeah, I'm really excited about 400 Days. I couldn't believe it when IGN said it'd be coming out tomorrow.

I liked Under The Bed. The creature is in the trailer though.

I'm still waiting for the second season of american horror story to be put on netflix. The first season of that show is bonkers. It takes 6 episodes of random elements being introduced for it to start making any kind of sense. I don't know how good it is, but it is odd enough to be entertaining.

http://bloody-disgusting.com/news/3240969/5-questions-with-under-the-bed-director-steven-c-miller/ Trailer for "Under the Bed" and an interview with the director. Its kind of laughable that a major part of the interview is about the restraint needed to save the reveal of the full creature design for the end of the film and yet the site uses it as the header photo! Damn good design though.
Par for the course. Trailers have been revealing the spoilers and endings of movies for years. It's only natural now to just start showing us the big reveal before the movie even gets a proper ramp up.

I like that show as well. Although Victor is one creepy kid.

Victor and his creepy powers. I found Camille annoying.

I loved how the first season ended.

It sucks that we have to wait until November 2014 for the next season.

I didn't really like S2. It had good moments and good ideas but overall it was just filled with too many subplots.

I just watched Scream 4, and I really enjoyed it. I liked it more than 2 and 3. Scream 1 remains the best though, it's a fantastic film.

Has anyone here seen the fan films by Blinky Productions on You Tube (aka Blinky500)? IMO, they're probably the best fan films available on the net. Some of them are even better than some of the actual movie sequels/reboots/remakes that Hollywood has come out with.

I recommend the Halloween/Friday The 13th crossover story "Friday The 31st". There are also a couple of Nightmare on Elm Street prequels that, while short, are just SO much better than the Platinum Dunes piece of crap.

I've got a nice four-day weekend this holiday weekend, and I need to binge on a film series. Any ideas?

Possible options:

A Nightmare on Elm Street
Halloween
Hellraiser
Tremors
Romero's Dead Saga

I always try to do this two or three times a year. I can't just watch a single entry... It has to be all of them. :woot:

I just recently plowed through Final Destination (5 films) and Scream (4 films), and did Paranormal Activity (4 films) before that.

Anyone heard of the Wishmaster series?

Wishmaster
Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies
Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell
Wishmaster 4: The Prophecy Fulfilled

I find these to be extremely underrated - maybe the most underrated Horror series out there. My friends give me crap for this all the time, but I find all four films to be strangely compelling. They get worse with each film (of course), and they even delve too far into the sci-fi/fantasy realm... but sue me if they're not a blast to watch on a rainy day.

I'll also say that the fourth one has a pretty solid - almost impressive - storyline.

I've only seen the first one. I loved the way the Djinn would twist everyone's wish to make it turn out bad for them.

I saw the first one in theaters.

First one is awesome, second one is good...3 and 4 are pretty bad.

For me that's by far one of the worst movies of any kind that I've ever seen. I can't believe anyone thinks it even qualifies as a horror film.
It's just one horrid sketch comedy routine after the next, it's a Scary Movie sequel, not a Scream sequel. Furthermore, it's not even funny.

By far the single worst thing to ever happen to a movie franchise I once loved.
Terrible comedy and worse horror film. I'm not fond of Scream 3, but it's a masterwork next to that.

I gotta agree with you there. And aren't they trying to come up with a fifth one now? I mean seriously! How many people could possibly want Sidney Prescott dead?

The first Scream was great. The second one wasn't bad for a sequel. Part 3 sucked pretty bad. I mean they had to reach pretty far to try and come up with a new villain for that one. And then Part 4? If a long lost, pissed off half brother in Part 3 was a stretch, you'd have to be Mr Fantastic to stretch for an envious younger cousin as a plausible villain.

So to Dimension Films, or whoever is making all these God Awful sequels, "Stop it! The horse is dead! It's beyond dead! It f**king GLUE! Stop whipping the damn thing! It can't go any farther!"
