some horror sites had wrote about this movie claiming it was an effectively scary movie
I'm all for gratuitous, over the top violence.
The problem with Inside was not the ridiculous violence/shock scenes...it was everything else. It was the fact that the film insulted your intelligence with cardboard characters doing things no human would ever do just to get to the next shock without having to put any effort into story. It COULD have been a very creepy and shocking film, if we actually cared at all about what was happening, but the film was betrayed by the script and story.
The Human Centipede is a little different. No matter what they do, there is no way that the audience can fully invest emotionally into the concept of a guy surgically connecting people ass to mouth. It aint happening. Inside was, at it's core, a woman fighting for her life and her babies life against a woman trying to stab/cut the baby out of the womb. THAT can affect the viewer! The Human Centipede just needs to embrace it's insanity and take the viewer on a ridiculous ride. I have a feeling that they are taking themselves a bit too seriously with it, but I'll give it a shot anyway.
yeah, if you are the last one, by the time whatever the first person ate gets to you it would be so putrid and smooshy it would be like filth soupYoud hate being the last one?!?! What about the middle one!!! This is just to much I gotta go get a ****ing drink or something after watching the trailer.

Random question...
I just saw this movie and it is AWESOME!!!!!
I'm trying to keep track of movies I've seen this year for the first time, since my friends always ask me what my favorite movies of the year were...
This film was just released in limited release in the US...but apparently was shown overseas and in some festivals several months ago.
So, is this a 2009 or 2010 release?
Can't believe I only just realized how easily "The Human Centipede" could be turned into a sex position.
