For me one of the most disturbing movies I ever felt while watching was the original Maniac. Particularly the stalking of the nurse after her shift into the public restroom was quite horrifying especially because it’s such a real fear for women.

I mean also The Exorcist was such a shocking movie at its time and when I watched it as a kid in the 90s the visuals always stuck with me, primarily the part where she comes down the stairs.

Just found this youtube channel called SpookyRice. The channel gives summaries of disturbing movies. After watching a lot of his videos, the one movie I don't think I could watch is No Child of Mine.

I remember seeing that movie Teeth a while back. When I first heard about it, I expected it to be horrifying or disturbing or at least a good cautionary tale about rape culture. The one thing I didn’t expect it to be was BORING. Talk about a movie where the director got so lost in shooting pretty shots that he forgot to tell much of a story. Aside from the initial premise, there is nothing good about it and the acting SUCKS.

That is very highly disturbing but not the most disturbing thing to me (though if I had watched it, it definitely might creep to the top). There was something else I have seen that disturbed me more. Which is why I am having trouble remembering what it was.
