Wow Im surprised my thread lasted this long, id figured it be about on the 3rd page in the forum with no replies, lol.

Anyways I love mysteries and any kind of Murder Mystery and if anyone knows any good ones post the title for me please. I've been reading some Agatha Christie books: Dead MAn's Folly, Murder is Easy, and the Thirteen Problems. They were all good.

Rex Stout's "Nero Wolfe" books were good, as are the Ellery Queen books and the Perry Mason series. Then there's Cadfael mysteries, and oh, blast... I'll have to look up the other ones... I recognize 'em when I see 'em on the shelf, but can't think of the titles...

has anyone here read that Dark tower series by King?.... i just got the first book

Yes I read both of those, but unfortunately, like you I guess, I am to lazy to write a report on them, though. :o I did find them enjoyable.

i love shakespeare too! i'm mostly into his comedies though. twelfth night is my favorite :]

If you like the story of King Arthur, read Sword at Sunset. It's a very realistic take on him (Think I might re-read it.)
The King Must Die is the story of Theseus, and the Minotaur. I had to read this book for school, and was so excited it was about ancient Greece. I need to read The Bull from the Sea, it's sequel. Is it any good?

I like his tragedies. I was in a production of Romeo and Juliet(I played Balthazar) in high school, but I really like Julius Caesar the most.
It's more accurate than any movie made about Caesar. It has deception, betrayal and a crazy battle at the end that would look great on film.

yea, julius caesar was good. but as far as tragedies go, i think i like hamlet the most, although othello was pretty good.

The Nanny Diaries. Embarassing title if you're a guy, I know, but it's one of the wittiest books I've read in some time. The writing style is pretty delightful and the writing is really funny in general. Very moving at the end as well.

The main reason I like it so much is because of it's setting. I'm a big ancient Rome and Greek nut. If it says "Takes place in ancient Rome" or "Takes place in Thebes" GIVE IT TO ME NOW!

My favorite book is the first book listed.
Star Wars: Traitor
It's a great story of a young man(Jacen Solo) growing up during persecution. There are very few characters in this book, with Jacen being the main and Leia and Han are nowhere to be found. By the end, Jacen has grown to become the man he is supossed to be(The savior of the Galaxy).

I've read a lot of Stephen King books. The last one was Pet Sematary a while back which I read in a day with no food or sleep

Yeah, once I get to a certain point in a book that is consuming enough, I don't stop till I finish. I give up with books that don't seem good enough after 5 or 6 chapters (unless I've paid hard cash for them).

Thats what i do with Harry Potter books, I cant wait for the Seventh one to come out but then again ill be very depressed
