Once and For All...: An infamous Hype Thread created in the summer of 2006, approximately one month before August 4th/5th. In the thread theSumofGod, a local Hype Illumantist/Conspiracist, made a "final" outcry to Hype sheep (see: Hype Truth Movement). He claimed a nuclear device would detonate of holy Muslim soil in Israel on August 4-5 causing the third World War. The War would finally bring the New World Order into power. The skeptical posters were proven true when August came and absolutely nothing occurred. Sum did say we would admit being wrong come August. However he ended up saying that while he was wrong about the dates the underlying theories were true and that this did not disprove any Illumati/Conspiracy theories. Proving this thread was probably neither "once" nor "for all".

Hype Truth Movement: Started around the release of V for Vendetta. The first prominent thread read "Remember, Remember the 11th of September". The first post was a quote from the movie followed by a ;) smiley (However it was not made by theSumofGod). The thread was mocked initially but then turned into a quiet heated argument. Centerpieces to the Truth Movement such as "Loose Change", "David Icke" and "911Truth.org" became infamous due to the thread.
One thread poster was theSumofGod, a conspiracist (though he would wish to avoid such labelling), who claims an Illumanti caused September 11th as part of a military-industial complex driven plan (although his theory changes from time to time).
Believers were part of the "truth seekers" or "investigators" who saw past the wool that had supposedly been pulled over their eyes. Ironically, anyone who disagreed with their position was called close minded. Eventually the term "Sheep" was attached.
The "truth seekers" often misassociated the "Sheep" with Bush. Several of the posters (ShadowBoxing, Carter, cass, JLBats and Matt) actually sided with Democrats and or more liberal politics. Several of the truth seekers (Sum, Flamehead, Stryfe, and WhiteRat) sided with no political parties. They also rejected and or had ill feelings towards institutionalized systems such as College, the press and television news.
Most threads turn out to be flame wars and insult fights with neither side attempting to refute or present evidence for claims.

I feel if we're going to list some notorious members, we ought to include Gina and her many accounts. Known for causing massive stirs in the X-Men forum, and having one of the foulest mouths witnessed.

Thank you, dick****, I was getting to that in my own way.

You weenie. Klint went through that many in an HOUR, with me banning every single one of them, often before the email authorization even kicked in.
