It means you win the internet. Congrats, you should be very proud.

I'm about to add another entry. The rest of: get to work!

Poost - v. to post a message on an internet forum (i.e. Superherohype) from your laptop while taking a dump. Such action is often practiced by SHH member "Gammy79".

Referals are mentioned in the FAQ posted in the tech forum.

I Kid You Not - catchphrase - Spoken by the Science teacher to Harry Osborn in "Spider-Man", this simple phrase and the character/actor who spoke it (now commonly referred to as the "I Kid You Not Guy") quickly became legendary on the SHH forums. Even now after after over 5 years, this phrase (sometimes abbreviated into "IKYN") can be spotted at random on The Hype, and SHH member "Matt" to this day still features I Kid You Not Guy, along with his phrase, as his avatar.

BaughProductions - n. - Former SHH member who was bound and determined to create the definitive film of "The Legend of Zelda", a popular Nintendo video game franchise. Unfortunately for him and anyone who had to read his posts, BaughProductions was only something of 12 years old. Despite this fairly large handicap, he insisted that his movie was going to happen...and that it'd "show us all". He oftentimes would share with us pictures of his work in action. One such picture was his teaser poster of the movie, which was quite obviously made in MSPaint and took all of 2 minutes of effort to create. Due to him being still in Kindergarten, BaughProductions had very little money of his own to finance the movie. So though the millions of dollars worth of grants he said he had gotten, he would use this money to create his film. Much of it was promised to anyone and everyone on the SHH forums that said they would fly down to him and act in his film. Sadly, he was eventually laughed away from SHH and never heard from again. We're guessing his film has never been completed...yet. ;)

The Casino Royale effect - n. - When a film, typically a reboot or distant sequel, is made in a specific franchise that garners high critical reception. Fanboys and many others will instantly consider it the best of the entire franchise and dismiss the previous installments as if they were all inferior or terrible. Examples include Casino Royale, Batman Begins, etc.

Just curious...why isn't this called the "Batman Begins Effect" then, if it happened with BB first?

Maybe it’s because Batman Begins and Casino Royale were just better movies?

Someone make an entry about me! I think I've earned it being as I am associated with at least 3 of the other entries (Bakerboy, IKYN, and the truth seekers)

You've got to be kidding right? That's awesome! :woot:

Mr Thau Please Create CGI Villains Rule the World Scene: A massive internet gag that eventually made its way into the Hype.

http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=274650

This gag has been found on the Beijing Olympics website, theforce.net, bluetights, SONY, youtube, and countless other sites on the net.

In this cyber-gag, a poster makes his way into a forum and spreads the gospel of Thau-age. Michael Thau was the producer of the Christover Reeve Superman films.

These events have spawned numerous imitations and variations on the "CGI Villains Rule the World Scene" phrase.
