I thought I'd make this thread for anyone out there whose had a passionate hatred for a film, but could not find a thread to rant about how horrible that movie was, here's your chance. So I'll start. Van Helsing. Everything, and I mean everything about this film gets on my every nerve. It's poorly made, on all levels. Acting and directing, and what was up with the horrendous accents? Not to mention the FX were unbelievably bad, with the shrek looking Hyde and all... That kinda felt good.

Anyway, your turn.

superman was really bad because they hired bryan singer to direct it

I could've really used this thread when Mr. and Mrs. Smith came out. Unfortunately, by now all my hate and loathing towards it has evaporated. :(

White Chicks.
That is the most racist piece of **** I have ever seen.
The Wayan's brothers should be taken along with Uwe Boll and dropped into a volcano. Damon can live, he's the only one who hasn't made a totally ****ty film. He should disown his brothers.

League of Extraordinary Gentelmen.

Felt like a rapist was Fu*king my eyeballs for however long it was

I still got hate in my heart for Hostel.... and quite frankly anything that overrated bastard Tarantino is remotely involved with. Guy ****ing steals everything good in his films and thinks its okay just because he tells you were its from. No *******. Try something original. *****e.

I could go into total rant mode, but I'm way too tired for that.

Thank god for this thread though. I have a feeling I'll be returning to it soon.

I just watched that for my first time tonight, I didn't hate it, thought it was your average "cute" action film

I've seen better, I've seen worse

**** Alien vs Predator.
**** Paul Anderson.
**** Paul Anderson.
**** 20th Century Fox.
**** Paul Anderson.

Not a big Hostel fan either. The movie has no focus whatsoever. It doesn't know if it wants to be a sex movie, a gross movie, a heroic story, an action story, and god I hope it doesn't try to pass itself as a scary movie.

2001: A Space Odyssey.

Wow. The movie that somehow makes everyones Top 3 for greatest Sci-Fi film ever. HOW?! To be honest I don't even remember much about it because I saw it for the first/last time a few months ago. I just remember hating it with so much passion because of the hype shoved in my face going into it. I do remember that pointless mind-Fv(k of a light show at the end. I stand in firm in the belief that if you have to wikipedia a movie to understand the ENTIRE movie, someones job wasn't done.

I just saw the movie recently and my only real complaint really was simply that I wish the monoliths were better explained, once I found out that they helped man evolve, the entire movie made sense and was awesome. The movie is absolutely beautiful, the attention to detail, characters, and hte over-all story is great, I definately need to rewatch this.

Yeah, it wasn't that bad of a movie, there were just these little things in it that annoyed the hell outta me. :o

pokemon the movie

Why? cause it was gay

Spider-Man

everything about these movies are assed backwards.

Blonde to redhead/Redhead to Blonde
Gwen Stacy to Mj/ Mj to Gwen Stacy
topher is brock and not parker.
webshooters not believalbe but a man made out of 20 foot sand of himself is..

the two leads are horrible.
peter parker is an appealing character becuase hes not depressed and so serious like batman, hes not perfect like superman. Parker is funny and charismatic and tobey maguire is a walking stiff.

comic parker cracks jokes, the movie parker has clutsy things happen to him which makes him out to be a walking dumbass that the audiance laughs at and not with him.

Mary Jane is Kirstin Dunst.

the spider man movies are okay movies, there solid movies based on the superman franchise which is annoying to see when spider mans comics visuals are so abundant and can be used instead of a superman ripping off shirt scene.

no webshooters, crappy costumes watered down plots.

the spider man movies by sam rami, tobey maguire and dunst is not what spider man is. at all. its an unapealing love story, with two depressed unapealing leads, and pussysypmathectic villains.

Are ya touched man? Come on this is a big piece of drivel ifyou've ever read the books. I can't believe people like that movie at all. It totaly disrespects the books and turns people off of reading them. I went through the first three cause they were good but couldn't finish the flipping movie!

Someday I'll get around to the book, I need to read some Asiminov and Phillip K. Dick :(

I don't understand how exactly it disrespects the book? The book was written at the same time, Kubrick and Clarke collaborated on both projects. The story was both of theirs.

I agree my friend...but one thing is missing:

**** Paul Anderson. :)

Oh, and I dislike LOTR and King Kong. Those are some lifeless, over-CGI'ed overlong, overmade snoozefests.

**** Fantastic Four
**** A History of Violence
**** **** **** Garden State which is one of the most pretentious pieces of excrement ever passed off as an art film.
And double **** Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. If the words 'Cliff Notes' were included as a subtitle, I'd gotten what I expected. Instead, they gutted the book and told the jokes half-way, and made up some crap instead of telling MORE from the book. What a POS. Very disappointed.
And **** Life Aquatic, nothing more than an ode to when a filmmaker thinks anything he craps out is entertaining. WRONG! Wes, your movies are getting worse. Rushmore was great, but everything else has been downhill.

**** X-Men 3. Everything went wrong.
**** Napolean Dynamite. Most over-hyped piece of crap I've seen.
**** Lilo & Stitch. Yeah, I'm part of the few that hated it.
**** Nacho Libre. Dumb story, bad acting and Jack Black in spandex
**** Clerks 2. Not really. I'm just checking to see if you're paying attention.

the wizard of oz, i just can't sit through this movie. but its odd that every time i see that they will be playing this movie on tv i get hyped a little to see it. but then i turn it on and find that i don;t like it all that much.

HOSTEL and the SAW films :down Plus Spider-Man 2.

No matter what the people of the Hype say, I STILL hate these movies:

-Batman Begins

-Serenity

-Fantastic Four (that was the crappiest Dr. Doom I've ever seen)

-The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake

-The Pink Panther sequel/prequel/remake with Steve Martin

-the Assault on Precint 13 remake

-the Dawn of the Dead remake

-The Hills Have Eyes remake

-Hostel

-House of a 1000 Corpses

-The Devil's Rejects

-Reeker

-Creep

-Silent Hill

-the When a Stranger Calls remake

-the 2005 King Kong remake

-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
