The Official SHH! Movie Awards Discussion Thread

I find it terrible that no one else has suggested The Inbetweeners Movie for best comedy. I assume everyone else has never heard of it cause you're all American?

Probably true, but i'm English, saw it at the cinema, and still don't think it was worth a vote :p

I think it's because I'm American, and it's probably one of the overseas movies I overlooked.

Was it released here?

I'm still waiting for Juan of the Dead. That looks hilarious.

Congrats to Ryan Gosling for best comedic performances and Bridesmaids/Horrible Bosses for best comedy!

The next categories will be up shortly.

Sorry guys. I haven't been online. I've been starting college up again. The new threads will be up tomorrow with an altered schedule.

I don't feel like I've seen enough to vote in those categories. Kate Winslet is probably unlikely but I think she was great in Contagion

Yeah, I'm staying out of these too. I haven't seen that many drama movies to vote in it.

Our acting winners:

Best Actor: (Tie) Jean Durjardin, The Artist and Ryan Gosling, Drive
Best Actress: Rooney Mara, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

By the Way, Ryan Gosling has won his Third individual SHH! Movie Award:

Best Actor: Driver, Drive
Badass of the year: Driver, Drive
Best comedic performance: Jacob Palmer, Crazy, Stupid, Love.

I don't think he got any Oscar promotion.

The SHH! Movie Awards are over!

Congratulations to Drive and to our Superhero movie Lifetime Achievement award winners!

Christopher Nolan
Christopher Reeve
Richard Donner

That was fun, and few of my choices ended up winning, which is good to see. Good job Parker.

I very much appreciate your work on this year's SHH! Movie Awards, Parker Wayne.

Thanks guys! I'll be tweaking the awards for next year, and try to streamline it (More active threads at one time, and less time between nominations and polls, etc.)
