Found these AWESOME custom made Iron Fist and Immortal Weapons toys:

The current Iron Fist, Danny Rand, fights against and along side 6 other warriors to protect both Earth and the 7 Capital Cities of Heaven. They are The Immortal Iron Fist, Fat Cobra, The Bride of Nine Spiders, Dog Brother #1, Tiger’s Beautiful Daughter, The Prince of Orphans, and The Steel Phoenix. Together they are the Immortal Weapons. All are in scale to and compatible with other Marvel Legends Lines.

Group shot:

Marvel trademarks 'Iron Fist,' game, film could be in the works

se0wnq.jpg

Recently, Marvel Entertainment went out of its way to trademark "Iron Fist" for use in a number of things. But most relevant to your interests, of course, may be for videogame cartridges, discs, and software.

While it might seem odd that Marvel could be eying one of its "second string" super heroes for games, it's not entirely out of the question. An Iron Fist film has been rumored for years, seemingly in Hollywood development hell, with martial artist/actor Ray Park reportedly attached. This past March, Variety had reported that Marvel has been assembling writing teams to help launch its lesser-known properties, including Iron Fist, into other media.

The trademark could be an indication that Marvel is serious about finally getting the Iron Fist film property off the ground. Of course, that would also include a videogame, as well as a full line of toys and action figures which Marvel also recently trademarked "Iron Fist" for use with.

It should be noted that in a financial report released today, Marvel makes no mention of the crime-fighting martial artist. It does, however, mention the films The First Avenger: Captain America (2011), Spider-Man 4 (2011), Thor (2011) and The Avengers (2012). In the world of games, it appears the three previously announced SEGA titles -- Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America -- are all still in the works.

^ This was posted in November of last year.

Just recently Kevin Feige talked about what movies we can expect following the Avengers, he mentioned Iron Fist.

The magazine asked Feige what other characters may come to the big screen after The Avengers. "I love Doctor Strange. Ant-Man is like Whiplash - one of those chracters where you're like, 'Really?' that we've got a fun story with. I've always wanted to do something with Black Panther. I think what Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction have done with Iron Fist lately is great, and the Iron Fist mythology opens up a whole other part to us. I'd love to break into the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe even more- it's kind of there in 'Thor.' J.J. Abrams' 'Star Trek' got me jonesing to do that. It's what I grew up on - 'Star Trek' and 'Star Wars.' I want to do a big space epic. And we've got them in Marvel."

Really happy with Feige's comments.

So it seems more like we might see Iron Fist come back soon. I don't see why it even ended Duane Swierczynski wrapping up Cable in a couple months and he was fine on the title after Fraction and Brubaker left.

I'm think we'll get news on Immortal Iron Fist's return soon.

Iron Fist needed some sort of rest between relaunches. After all, relaunching a series before any demand builds, especially for a B-List character (popularity wise), doesn't lead to much sales improvement; just ask Moon Knight (or Exiles). So, some return is inevitable.

Martial arts action movies with special effects will always be cool, so getting Iron Fist off the ground in alternate media seems like a no-brainer. The additions to K'un L'un's origin that Brubaker & Fraction added at least allow the franchise to probably appeal to people who like anime. If handled properly it could be a gateway series in that way.

An Iron Fist movie has all the potential to be awesome. There are two good choices for Danny Rand, Charlie Hunnam and Cam Gigandet.

I'd like to see a book that deals with the other 66 Iron Fists (well, at least 67 if you count the future IF issue). Something along the lines of "Tales From the Book of the Immortal Iron Fist" or something. There is a lot that can be done there, and I'd love to see them delve deeper into the mythos than they already have. And if not, at least have the one shots between arcs continue in the new series.

Same here, we were supposed to get a story with an Iron Fist of the past from India. That has yet to happen but I hope it still does when the book returns. Another good idea would be an Iron Fist of the past from Japan.

Hate Cam. I do not think he can act at all.

I thought he was good in Never Back Down. Plus, an interesting fact is that he's a practitioner of the martial art, Krav Maga.

If so he's only been training for a couple years. I did a test fight with him for Never Back Down and he was very new to Ma back then...

My mistake I meant to say practitioner. Although various sites say he's trained in Krav Maga or has a black belt in Krav Maga. So I don't know. :meanie:

Hey just trying to help with accurate data, no heat intended

and (once again just data) KM isn't a gud opening style for whoever plays IF

Wushu would be Much better as the art of IF is a Kung-fu...

For sure. I think the basic principles of Krav Maga are good though, so atleast Cam has a background on how to fight. Plus, I don't think the physique part of it all would be a problem for him, he was in real good shape for Never Back Down.

I've been finding sample drawings artists have been doing for Iron Fist, this one was done by artist Benjamin Morse. Iron Fist vs. Batroc in Italy:

And then Iron Fist vs. Juggernaut by artist Sean Izaakse:

It's worth noting that the Morse pages are sample pages, Izaaske's are not. Izaaske stated the pages where done from talking about it in a coversation:

Some sequential pages that came about cos of a geek out conversation at the comic shop one saturday.

Iron Fist is a bad ass and tie for my favourite Marvel Character at the mo.

Enjoy.

Still though, these are awesome.

so how come Iron Fist is drawn with the big-ass collar in the Avengers books, but with the new costume (which I prefer) when in his solo book (which I miss)?

Because the collar is infinitely more awesome than no collar. :o

Also, the pages by those artists look great and I love Iron Fist and all, but the idea of him doing even the slightest bit of harm to the Juggernaut is kind of silly. :oldrazz:

I could see them coming up with some way for Danny to hurt Juggs a little bit, at least once or twice like the time Cannonball fought Gladiator.

Then it would be a plot contrivance, which is lame. I mean, sure, you could weaken Jugs, but then Iron Fist isn't really fighting THE JUGGERNAUT, he's fighting a pale shadow of the Juggernaut's former glory.

Yeah, I could see Danny taking Good Juggernaut in a fight because he's weaker, but not Bad Juggernaut.

Ha, it's like pro-wrestling. When a guy's good, he gets beaten up every week. But when he's bad, he's unstoppable :whatever:

The excuse for Juggs being weak in the fight with Worldbreaker Hulk was that his Cytorrak powers weren't fully charged. I call BS but whatever. His loss to Skaar wasn't due to weakness, but b/c Cain is dumb as bricks and doesn't even get how his own powers work. I can't wait to see how Spidey beats him up in the coming months and how he ends up on the Thunderbolts.
