With Iron Man and Hulk, Marvel is really delivering it all. I'm so happy they're in control of these works. Imagine if they get X-Men back...

I don't like the contest between movies... Hulk is looking good, so is Iron Man and TDK. I really feel like I can be hyped. It's been a while!

Personally, I love the makeover. Yes it could do with some refinements (and I'm sure there will be some) but damn it, if this aint the Hulk I don't know what is:

You guys are forgetting just how cartoony they animated the Hulk in Ang's movie. That was always the complaint: they should have used motion capture instead of animating it themselves. It was like Tex Avery.

They did use motion capture for a good few scenes and Ang Lee did much (if not all) of that work himself.
The scenes I know for sure he did were beating up the tanks and slamming daddy banner into the rocks.

Ok. I just remember his first appearance, where he destroys the big machine. I remember them being so proud of their animation for that scene and talking about how they made the wires look like snakes and accentuated the Hulk's muscles and effort for the sake of symbolism and everyone was patting themselves on the back and I shrugged and went and watched Screwy Squirrel instead.

one word to describe the new look of hulk "CORRECT"

About the only thing I don't like is the darker, pronounced nipples. It's upsetting me more than it should, I know.

Some whiners should keep in mind that this is not the final version, they have to work on some details like the animation and skin texture, but overall, the design of the new Hulk is better than Ang's, and the movie seems more interesting, but we have to wait till this summer to make a fair judgement.

they are so many different variations in the comic I can't make an decision....I just chose it any way

I like the new look . It does kind of remind me of ang lees but comes together in a different way .

He's slimmed up a bit and gotten a bit more tanned.

I just think the design of the new one is better, but I don't think it actually looks more realistic, I think it's more of a stylized look, whereas Ang's was trying to show what Eric Bana might really look like if he mutated. Both are good, I just can't wait to see the new film, I'm pretty pumped...

Well, all the idiots got to me so I'll try to slap some sense. To those saying the CGI sucks and Ang's Hulk is better, here is a visual comparison:

Which is better? You decide! If you decide wrong and say Ang's is better, then go back to watching Ang's Hulk, X3, Spidey 3, Catwoman, and whatever else you like.

Ang's Hulk is an insecure monster. Leterrier's Hulk is a heroic beast. Ang's Hulk is made of green play-doh. Leterrier's Hulk is gamma powered flesh.

To remind why this movie needs to be made:

I never realized it before, but Ang's Hulk reminds me of Brock Lesnar.

Overall, I'm pleased. Not blown away but I am pleased....especially with how Hulk looks. Abom...ehhh....I would have personally loved something closer to the comics but it doesn't bother me all that much. He looks more like Doomsday from DC comics though. Wait a sec....isn't this trailer being attached to a movie named 'Doomsday'...hmmm. Haha.

But overall, I think once they touch everything up and get it ready for the release the visuals will look great. I just hope everything about the Marvel/Norton works out for the best.

To me the CGI of new Hulk looks better, even animated better.

Heres the big drop off though, the polish. It just needs tweaking before hitting the theater. Ang's Hulk had polish, I give it that.

But really when I look at the two pics.. and I hear everyone fighting over which one looks like a cartoon... truly I have to say, what the **** are you people blabbing about? Both look like cartoons, neither looks real in the slightest, and thats because you simply CANNOT have a 9 foot tall green man LOOK REAL. I am so sick of the realism debate.

Iron Man, Transformers, **** even Kong and Narnia can look more real why? Metallic surfaces and fur.

Metal = looks better computer animated, Fur hides imperfections.

But really if any of you think Ang's looks more real than this one? Phf. Don't kid yourself. They're about on par in my book only the new one lacks final touches.

honestly, i think the new hulk is just to damn shiny. if they dulled him down, he'd look much better. especially considering he just crawled out of crumbled asphalt. you'd think he'd be dustier.

Think of the first Iron Man Trailers.... think of the most recent one. Notice anything? Beat up metal and dirt smeared everywhere.

Those are the final touches.

The CGI is real bad, especially when you see the first shot of Abomination running towards Hulk.

Bana did look more like his Hulk then Norton does his.

I thought Ang Lee's Hulk design was pretty decent overall, though a bit "soft" looking and maybe had a bit of a baby face. The new Hulk is a HUGE improvement! I think the CGI looks excellent, very good detail. This movie is going to be a real fan pleaser, can't wait til June!!

I feel as though, I have seen this movie before. The trailer reveals soo much.
Question: Who was the villian in the Ang version?

Well if you count Ross (which i do) there were two villains, but the one he threw down with was his dad at the end and he had the powers of the absorbing man, and as in topic to the thread, I like the new look though I hope they fix up the cg before release which I'm sure they will
