The Jaimie Alexander/Lady Sif thread

Doesn't really bother me that much, you'd see much more at any local pool or beach and wouldn't think twice about it. The dress shows as much skin as most other dresses, it's just a conventional design.

Great Googly Moogly

A bit risky for a Marvel movie premiere but Jaimie Alexander sure knows how to please the fanboys. I have to admit, I'm off to see what other angles the paparazzi was able to snap...

That dress... She would be fine as WW, but she looks like an ideal Talia or Catwoman truth be told. Now if you'll excuse me... (Jayne voice) "I'll be in my bunk..."

That is a very peculiar dress... Not that I have a problem with it, it just is... I don't know how to put it in words. Anyways, she is badass as Sif, although she doesn't do a whole too much in the sequal, it is great to see her. Hopefully we will get a lot more of her in the third going, maybe even in another Marvel movie if we are fortunate enough.

I have a feeling her on-set injuries really forced them to cut down on whatever role she was supposed to have.

I know, and that is unfortunate. I can really respect her, especially since she does almost all of her own stunts(if not all). Not only did they cut down her role in the movie due to her injuries, I am assuming they sacrificed some of her, Volstagg, and Fandral's(Don't even get me started on Hogun) role in the movie to include more scenes with Loki and Darcy. Now I love Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and honestly was expecting more scenes with him, however I feel as though the Darcy/Ian/Selvig scenes took up a lot more screen time than needed, possibly including a little more Sif and Two of the Warriors Three in there instead.

It seems like the dress is revealing alot, but in actuality it's just an illusion, and we don't really get to see much. However, your mind can fill in the blanks with the way the dress is designed, and so it makes her looks extra sexy. I can't help but staring it at. :wow:

I can understand why they would want to include more scenes with Loki, but to sacrifice other people's scenes potentially in order to make room for the likes of Darcy..well, that's just so wrong.lol

To think, a character that a lot of us thought we wouldn't see again in the sequel, managed to get more time than a lot of the characters that are actually important.

You're not that far off from your assessment. In theory, you could've cut Darcy, Ian, and Selvig out of the film and gave all of their stuff to Jane and the film wouldn't really change at all...hence giving more room to the Warrior's Three and Sif...especially Sif, considering Jaimie Alexander talked about having a much bigger role in the sequel, which in this cut, is technically less than what she was given in the original film.

It's bizarre. Sif and the Three get their moments to shine but you could clearly see that the film could've used more of them when you juxtapose it with Darcy, Ian, and Selvig.

As a Thor fan I definitely would prefer The Warrior's Three over Darcy and Ian, but it won'truin the film for me.

I'll have to take a... uhm... 30 minute break.

Fanboys love the "dress".

It's actually vulgar, though. It looks like she's desperately trying to get all the attention.

Women should always win.

But it's not a provocative dress, it's just appellative.

She's pretty, she has a body to wear this kind of dress, but it isn't a nice dress.

Women are the biggest haters of other women ;P

It is why the "who wore it better" thing began. Haters gonna hate. :funny:

The dress does hold in place perfectly in motion. She's the first interview on that link.

Ben Lyons was great. "I love Azaro"... the makers of the dress. He also commented how he kept eye contact. That must have been hard. When she walked away, the back was quite sheer as well I think. Overall, it really worked for her without being too much. Live, it has intriguing class somehow.

Oh yes it is! :D

There's an even more revealing pic. For those who'd like to see it, Reddit is your friend. ;)

This!

I hate those three so much in this film, especially Darcy!
