The JLBats Diary: The College Years

He's a goner.

Let's move on to Prima.

Been having a busy week. All this freshman orientation stuff. I've been going to bed at 2am and waking up and 8. Not a good mix lol. But I get to sleep in finally this weekend. Meeting a whole bunch of people and alot of walking. I don't think I'll be gaining the freshman 15.:woot: My dorm is up a hill to the main campus and it's like a 15 minute walk.

I really need a job. So many things I want to buy and no money. My classes start Tuesday. I have class everyday at 10am. It's not bad But I have to take Alegbra 1! :( But I'm taking a film interpetation class. :)I really don't know my roommate we're never in the room at the same time. lol but she and my one suitemate seem nice enough.

Another thing is my bed is a loft so I can't just collapse on it when I'm tired I have to climb to get on it. And when my alarm goes off I can't press snooze. :( But it's all good.

I think I talked too much and this isn't really my thread. But JLBats loves me. :o

Oh and Fran is transfering back to my school next sesmester. :)

Truly, madly, deeply.

Me thread et su thread. It's good to hear you're doing good.

Has your week been as hectic and drunken as mine?

No!

BUT

I am having the quite literal time of my life.
I hope I spelled everything right in this post.
And wish everyone a merry Christmas before I return to full rez floor drunken Rock Band.

Peace out.

:lion:

Atta boy! Enjoy it!

You'll be fine.

If you can cope with Superherohype, you can cope with life.

life doesn't have an edit button :csad:

Have you guys had intro to the library yet. the part where they tell you where the books are and how to loan them despite the books being on three floors, all around you and the loans desk has a big loans sign above it?

I've drank enough vodka this week to get a small third world country drunk.

....Soooooo.....how have classes been?

It's been hetic. But hahah since I'm 17 still I haven't gone out yet. But I plan to at the end of next month. Been staying up till like 4 every morning watching movies and playing Xbox and cards. I finally ate breakfast today. I kept missing it it closes at 11 and I woke up at like 2pm the whole weekend. lol

My classes start tuesday too.

Is it me or is not just the the area I'm in but the school is trying to rip me off? The vending machines charge $1.75 for a pop! I've wasted like $35 on junk food this weekend.

My cafeteria is ridiculous, they open at 11:30 and close at 5:30.

So I often forego breakfast and dinner and just have one giant midday meal.

lol I know. I actually had brunch today.

Hopefully I don't stay up too late tonight, my classes start at 10am. :(

Ooh, that's some bad luck. Mine start tomorrow at 1, so it won't be too jarring.

Sounds like you're doing better. Told you, college is the best time of your time.

WTF!? It's 4:30 and I can't sleep. Class starts at 10am. :(

I had Panda Express last night and it was good. :)

meh, I still think school was the best time of mine. I like the independance of college. It really hits when you get home for the holidays and its all do this, pay me that blah blah blah

my only advice for prima is that from my experience, best to try to sleep than try and stay up all night

lol I'm like the only one up. Some exchange students just went out. I slept for like 5 hours then I woke up. It's so empty in the lounge.

I felt the same way last night, but it didn't take hold because my first class is only at 1.

Thus no urgency. Thus ease of sleep.

Also, see if this takes place in class. The first few days you will see a lot of females wearing stuff like they're hitting the club or going out on a date, yet in about two more weeks all of them, and I mean all of them will be wearing pajama bottoms or jogging suits to the same class.

^ So true.

That's what cereal is for.

And eggs can sit on the shelf for a couple of days without risk.
Microwave the eggs for one minute, take them out and stir them and then microwave them for about 45 seconds and they'll be good to go.

this happens all the time in my classes. lol

I remember when I was a freshmen and saw all these hot females in my english class....midriff showing, wearing heels, makeup on. Then flash forward to next month, they look like they just crawled out the sack, hair looks a straight mess, wearing Snoopy covered pajamas with a dirty t-shirt....yikes.

yeah, it's like they stopped caring how they look. the best times are when school starts back up and when it ends in May. The girls dress ****ty during those times. But they look like they don't give a crap during the winter. lol
