The Lounge of Ice and Fire

I did enjoy the makeshift Stomp performance with Sam's latrine duty.

Need an adult showering you with pizza?

I mean, I wouldn't turn it down.

Would you?

Now it is to be mourned. Because apparently mouthing curse words is a bridge too far.

...I had to check which words were censored here, and which weren't. Because of this hardline totalitarian regime.

Yep, titled.... Knightfall!

Which leaves me to believe it will be set around the purge in 1307.

Bringing this **** all the way back, because Knightfall looks amazing.

Noah Hawley announcing that he's working on a Doctor Doom movie stirred feelings in me that I had long thought were dormant.

Been watching The Tunnel recently. So weird watching Stannis make jokes, and be a ladies man, and smiling.

Dillane, if you're Willane.

...I'll workshop it and get back to you.

Yeah, this is in the same category as Venom and Black & Silver. MCU wasn't going to use these characters, so might as well do something off kilter with them. If they bomb, MCU get them back anyway and if they're good we have some unique from the norm comic book films. Win win.

I saw the remarks Nolan made about Netflix, and how he feels it is an affront to a theatre experience. But then I saw this article: http://www.indiewire.com/2017/07/netflix-christopher-nolan-theatrical-distribution-1201857805/, which perfectly sums up my opinion on the matter.

I used to love going to the movies, but as I've grown older, I've also grown to hate the experience. I hate crowds. I hate the people who can't stop talking, or can't stop checking their phones, or can't find babysitters for their mewling infants. I hate assigned seating, because no matter what, some chuckle**** will choose the seat right beside my group, even though there were dozens of options with no neighbours. I hate the poor quality of the regular screens. I hate that I have to pay $5 more just to get a clear screen with IMAX or UltraAVX. I hate theatre food. I hate theatre food prices. Hate hate hate hate HATE HATE HATE.

Netflix didn't make me feel that way... if theatres fixed their ****, maybe this stuff wouldn't happen as much.

Someone brought a 2 year old to my screening of Spider-Man Homecoming. The child cried and cried and cried towards the end of the film and it was all I could do to not commit some of kind of homicide. They need to work that nonsense out.

Someone brought 4 small kids to my showing of TASM2 and they wouldn't shut up all film. The film was bad enough without that experience but it made it my worst cinematic experience in years when put together.

At my showing of Homecoming, a lady brought two small children, who insisted on commenting loudly on every single thing that appeared on screen. The lady didn't notice though, because she was constantly on her phone. She also got up and left repeatedly, leaving the spawn to literally roam freely.

I am fairly confident that if I took a five step stride, I could have thrown one of those kids from one end of the theatre to the other. It's an inclined plane, I'll cover it.
