The Maestro?

Just reading a part of future imperfect in the Hulk Marvel Platinum TPB and there is a part were Hulk walks into a room with many relics from past hero's that have died, amoung them was the likes of Thor and The Silver Surfer.

Now did The Maestro kill them or the nuclear weapons? Either way, I think its highly unlikely that either would kill them, ESPECIALLY The Silver Surfer, who has survived worse, he has even flown through the middle of stars. Could someone clear this up for me?

That part of the story was never really fleshed out. It was left open-ended for the reader to decide for themselves what happened. Chances are it was the nuclear wars that did them in. Hulk didn't become the Maestro until the wars were over.

He could of, there isn’t not proof he did, or didn’t all we know was he was strong enough to break the professors neck easily, who starts out at a higher strength level than other hulks (maybe besides Green scar)

But then other have said that those might be weaker version of their true counter parts (if you check the Marvel forms)

Just like the one about Abraxas, he was able to kill the Galan in his Universe but he can’t kill the one in the main marvel universe because the one in the marvel Universe has the Ultimate Nullifier, and it was stated that the Ultimate Nullifier is a part of Galan, but yet the FF4 could use it against Galan, and the other Galan doesn’t have it. It hard to judge people from other universe.

Okay, but, I'm not sure about Thor, but I am CERTAIN that The Silver Surfer could survive a nuclear war, and for that matter The Maestro.

it could happen in an alt universem come on Zombie heros beat Silver surfer and Galactus.

And, as someone with quite a large knowledge about the Surfer, I can ASSURE you a Nuclear War wouldnt kill him. He has flown through the middle of stars for crying out loud.

yup, and as someone who knows a lot about surfer you should know he did get beat with the cosmic head lock (its just a head lock) , by black panther if you recall.

Also if you pay attention, the trophy room is Galactus' Helmet, thats why I said if you thought the surfer’s board was something the room itself is more.

The bomb kill some heroes and villains, Hulk killed the rest, its not about how powerful the bomb is, the whole point of the bomb as to kill the weaker heros and villain, and the type of bomb it is for is to increase hulk’s power. the thing is that bomb gave out Gamma radiation, and hulk absorbs Gama Radiation, and that increases his over all power, and I guess according to that world, he absorb enough of it to beat all those people he has trophy of. Not saying he could beat surfer, but according to Marvel he did beat surfer and that world’s Galactus. Go to marvel’s forms, people argue about it all the time. How could he? Its not possible, but it did happen, some people even decide to say the bomb killed those heroes and villain not Maestro, but I think its worst to be kill by something that couldn’t kill hulk (the bomb), then to be killed by a over power hulk that absorb the bomb (hulk + the power of bomb), don’t you?

I know to everyone (even me) its not possible for hulk to beat Galactus or Surfer, but Maestro did and unless you can convince Marvel to back track Maestro story it is possible that hulk can beat them if he gets to Maestro’s power. As much as I don’t believe its possible too, we all can’t say it didn’t happen, Marvel publish it. Just like how I wish Red hulk never happen, he did and I have to put up with such crappy hulk writing. Logic says Surfer is the most powerful hero of all time, Marvel says Hulk can take him out. So are we judging marvel now, should we ask marvel for our money back because they did bad writing?

I wouldnt consider the story itself bad writing, just bits of that particular part.

I know Maestro seemed pretty powerful and would give the likes of Thor and The Surfer a good fight, maybe even beating Thor. But beating and killing both The Surfer AND Galactus, nah, not for me.

Just thought, with me only reading part of the story, something earlier or later on might have given a bit more clarity to the scene. Evidently not.
