The Many Saints of ‘Newark’ | The Sopranos Prequel

Looks great and I loved hearing the classic theme at the end as well. Man do I miss good old fashioned crime dramas like this and definitely feels like it could be the next Goodfellas.

Livia's snort and the shot of them inside Satriale's...hot damn this is going to be good. Could of swore I saw a young Big ***** in the latter shot. Likeness was eerie anyway

apparently the kid Tony beats up at the beginning of the trailer is Beansie

poor guy just can't catch a break!

This movie looks incredible, and Micheal Gandolfini looks to be doing his late, great old man proud. This can’t come soon enough!

As someone who's never seen a single episode of The Sopranos (have always been meaning to), this looks great. I don't know who any of these characters will grow up to be (except Tony Soprano, of course) but I may just wait to watch this then binge the series.

Worth the wait. Definitely seeing this in theaters.

So the trailer seems to confirm what was kinda hinted in the series that Dickie was killed by the family and not a dirty cop.

Interesting as well that, taking Livia at face value, it's Tony's Uncle Dickie and not his Uncle Junior who he looks up to and listens to. You'd wonder if Junior would hold that against Tony for the rest of his life, it feels like something he would do anyway.

True. Plus we know how jealous junior was so I can see that.

I would strongly recommend watching the show as soon as you can. This looks like you don't need to, but The Sopranos is quite simply the greatest tv show of all time.

Oh, I've heard.

It's the finding time to devote 6 seasons to it. I guess I'm just afraid to make a longterm commitment. lol

But I'm sure it'll be rewarding when I finally do.

I loved how they snuck the theme in the end. I don't know why I wasn't expecting that much young Tony to be in the trailer. That surprised me.
