The Marvel/DC "3 vs. 3" Battle thread

Still trying to choose. Dang, this is gonna be really close.

It's a close call, but my vote goes to team DC.

It's a brutal, dance of death, and the DC team barely is able to take down the Marvel Squad, 4-3.

New match up in a bit...

The Maestro, Kang the Conqueror, and the Black Panther (T'Challa)

Location: The Savage Land (populated)

*blinks*

Its sort of random picks on each side, if you ask me.

superman will take hulk, and deathstroke will beat panther, not sure about kang vs hourman, but the other will help out after their fights.
in fact i think superman would be able to beat them all on his own.
dc win.

Maestro could hold off Supes, but only for a little while.
Black Panther and Deathstroke...I'd say Tchalla has the upper hand, but not by much.
But Hourman? You pick one of the most powerful superheroes out there? Against KANG?

Sorta close, but I say DC.

Can I make the next match?

Hourman's powerful, but so is Kang. He's a genius strategist, hand to hand fighter on the same level as Cap, access to tech that makes Doom and Iron Man's look like children's toys, and a master when it comes to manipulating and controlling time.

Also the battleground comes into play. Lot of variables to take into account when they're fighting in the middle of the Savage Land (natives, terrain, etc).
This won't be clear cut for either side.

And if you have a match suggestion, PM it to me. That goes for anyone with a match idea.

With it being populated, it does limit your good guys like Supes, Hourman, and Black Panther. Balanced by your villians that don't care, Deathstroke, Maestro, & Kang.

Deathstroke / Black Panther: It'll run quite a while thanks to Challa's intelligence, tech, and more importantly, Vibranium. Deathstroke wins but he'll be in no shape to help anyone.

Hourman / Kang: Like Blaze said, Kang's tech is lightyears beyond anyone else involved in this match. The real point here is having a Master of TIME take on Hour man with TIME limitations. Can Kang's abilities forward Hourman into being obselete? If so, then Kang and if not, Hourman.

Superman / Maestro: There is no greater Hulk, even Scar, in my estimation. His intelligence dwarfs Supe's and Clark's no dumbass. His raw power is more than enough to knock Supes out but he won't be able to hit him IF Supes uses his Speed. Superman rarely ever does though, so it's a slugfest and that's the worst possible situation for Superman considering the insane healing factor of Maestro.

This one favors Maestro because Clark HAS to hold back from anything too drastic that would kill innocents and Maestro has no such restraints. It's as close to a Doomsday situation as you'll see. It'll go for longer than any of the others, but I'll take Supes 5.5/10.

DC Team emerges beaten and bloody but victorious.

Marvel's team edges this one out. Good match, random, but good.

I would've voted Marvel if it were regular Hulk or Green Scar on the team rather than Maestro, but the fact that he's lost to the regular Hulk means Superman can take him in spite of his intelligence. So my vote's DC

Only change I'll make here is that I think Deathstroke will pull through a bit better than you think... But he wouldn't be able to help more because everyone's out of his league in terms of powers rather than because he wouldn't be physically capable of fighting anymore after tangling with T'challa.

After the few match-ups we've seen between Moon Knight and Black Panther being virtually deadlocked, I personally don't buy that T'Challa/Deathstroke is going to take that heavy a toll on Slade... I put him above both MK and T'Challa, personally...

Not that it'll make a great deal of difference, I couldn't see him having a hell of a lot of impact against Kang, or particularly the Maestro in terms of a double-team. Best he could do is act as a distraction, and again... Maestro ain't stupid (understatment)...

Meh, written properly T'Challa would put a hell of a beating on Slade, especially with that tech and vibranium.

Marvel

Maestro > Superman

Black Panther > Deathstroke

Agreed. T'Challa's a bad mother****er. I think he'd be able to take Slade out, especially out in the jungle environment to which he's a helluvalot more used to than Deathstroke.

It was a hard choice for me, but my vote goes to the Marvel group. I think they'd be able to pull out the "W" when it's all said and done.

I'll leave this match open until tomorrow afternoon when I get back from work. After that I'll get a new one up.

Yeah, BP has a damn good shot on Deathstroke, but Slade's mythos tend to add more to the actual character and takes away from T'Challa.
