The massive, all encompassing FAIL thread

Starting to you agree with everyone on the Blackest Night crossover, it is a bit excessive, okay, people are coming back from the dead, do we need 8 issues of that continually happening, lets move forward and see how the Corps deal with it. Its been hinted at, but come on, enough talk, more action

Didn't Sue go after Namor around the end of Namor's last comic (the one started by Byrne circa 1989)?

My memory "fails" me...

:o

That ended up being an Atlantian shapeshifter posing as Sue. They had sex, Namor was in seven heaven, came to visit sue at the Baxter Building, awkward moment, truth revealed.

Shapeshifter pregnant I believe.

But it's been a while so I could be off a bit on that.

The thing for me, as far as Blackest Night goes, is that it really feels like it should be limited to the Green Lantern universe and DC has somehow managed to make it a huge line-wide event that's drowning out the actual story that's been building for years.

Like, why the heck would these black rings pick some of these corpses? The flying Graysons? Why?! They were just people. Why not my great grandmother? There's no point.

Now some resurrections make sense, but the focus on Earth is getting old. I'm actually growing to like the Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps tie-ins more than the actual mini itself.

Earth seems to be a lot more pivotal to the DC universe than the Marvel universe. I thought it was fine at first, but something happened in this week's Green Lantern that made the Earth focus a little too ridiculous to me.
