Unpopular opinion that I've probably said before in this thread: I prefer Revolutions to Reloaded, even though Reloaded has the better action sequences. That showdown at the Merovingian's mansion and the highway chase really elevate it.
To me Reloaded/Revolutions is a bit like Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2. The former is the fun, action-packed one, while the latter is the more somber, emotional core-- but it's one big story.
I think Reloaded is a blast and super rewatchable, but I will say that the final Neo/Smith battle in Revolutions is probably the piece of Matrix media I've revisited the most. The score alone never fails to give me goosebumps. I just find it insanely beautiful and moving that Neo has no chance of surviving that encounter, Smith knows it as an absolute certainty, and yet he just keeps going. Then there's Smith's amazing speech and Neo's realization/sacrifice. I love that entire sequence so, so much.

Can't believe they got woke now though in the sequel to the movie where Cornell West randomly appears.
