The series finale was magnificent in my mind. It had drama, suspense, closure, and true, beautiful, happy ending.

I think that's what makes it to amazing to me, when we started the show, Jane had nothing but his job and the desire to hunt Red John. Now, he has Lisbon, and a new child on the way. He's happy. That's what counts.

Mentalist may not have been the most consistent show, but it did have some great seasons and episodes. I'm happy to have watched it, and I'm glad it got a good ending.

Yeah it was a decent ending unlike the end of the Red John saga. Nice how they did a parallel of what happened before with RJ when Jane went on air years before. I did wonder if it would be a happy ending since it was the series finale and they could potentially have killed someone off.

We don't know if they will stay at the FBI though. However, Lisbon will have to take some time off if she's having a baby. But why didn't she tell Jane before?

I was sad that Vega died a few weeks back. I liked her. Would've been nice if she and Wylie actually got to go on a date.

If I was to point out one thing about the final season I didn't like, it was that Vega got killed. On the other hand, it did set up the last few episodes nicely. But I did feel bad for Wiley.
