I don't know how to feel about this movie. Part of me wants to see it and is excited,but the other one worries about things that will ruin it,like Will Smith's decisions on how to change Headshot and the fact that Joker has a crush,as opposed to being with Harley Quinn.



I'm cynical when it comes to DC. I know that the movies and tv shows are separate,but Arrow is a POS. Man of Steel was crap and I refuse to see Batman VS Superman. Why the hell is Khal Drogo playing Aquaman? Why is Aquaman even there? Green Lantern was terrible,too. Superman returns was awful as well. I may see Wonder Woman,but I'm waiting for reviews first.

I read in an article that Will Smith made specific demands as to how Headshot's costume look,as well as how he dresses. he didn't like certain things about the comic look,especially the fact that his eye was covered. It had me concerned,because when they change things due to an actor's demands,it can go badly.

His costume actually looks accurate to the comics. That article must have been some rumor from before the official photos were released.

On the flip side - friends I've shown the trailer to that don't like comic or comic movies are interested in seeing it; they aid Smith was a big draw for them. I think that might've factored into WB's casting decision there.

Ok I don't follow the DC universe like everyone does so my knowledge is not the best as it was when I was growing up.

Maybe there's more to it but it's the craziness about the film that sparked an interest in me.

I for one want DC to do things their way how it'd meant to be seen on screen. I want justice for every character that appears and I mean the ones we've rarely seen...like Wonder Woman being one of them...but characters we've never seen before in a live action film like what BvS has brought to us fans.

The second thing they list is that Deadshot has a kid. He did have a kid in the comics, Ayer didn't make that up for the movie.
And another thing they list for why the movie will be ruined is that it takes place in Midway, that is a really weak excuse for why the movie will be ruined.

For those that followed the production there were quite a few moments of Will in the mask on set. Plus... He's in the mask in the trailers as well. I mean... It's there to be seen.

In any case... The "name" actor in a CBM showing his face out of the mask is kind of a thing that's been done for about 15 years now. I don't understand singling out SS for this.

Well... Let's be clear, the Squad is NOT an anti-JLA team really. They just don't have the accumulated brains or muscle per se to go up against the League. There is a reason why the Squad has the likes of Boomer and Deadshot on the team and not say, Ra's Al Ghul, Lex Luthor or Bizarro. The Squad is made up of characters that you can reasonably see being "controlled" or at least coerced into action on someone else's orders. Some fans want to make it like they are the LEGION OF DOOM, and that's never been the case.

Secondly... It's called THE SUICIDE SQUAD for a reason. Ever see the Dirty Dozen? If you have, you know how a lot of Squad stories end. You don't get to "retire" from the Squad let's say. So, my guess is quite a few of the characters are not making it to the credits... Except for Boomer. That cockroach survives when bona fide super powered types eat it all around him. It's sort of a running Squad joke.

I read a theory that many of the shots from the beginning of the trailer - El Diablo, Killer Croc, Boomerang shouting at the camera, despondent Deadshot are from the end of the movie.
