So my province just instituted free tuition to low income students which I think is pretty awesome. They're releasing more info later on over the next few weeks but I'm hoping it will include older people (aka me) who want to go back to school but are ****ing broke all the time.

My sister is annoyed since she just graduated with her masters three years ago and has a debt of around $20,000. I doubt they'll do anything about that.

Your sister get a masters degree and only has $20,000 in debt. Ohhh, you canadians are so quaint. My local community college costs $19,000 per semester. A 2 year associates degree can set you back over $80,000, and the school is pretty rinky dink and not remotely respectable or heard of in any major industry.

In the US college debt collectors are like loan sharks. Those ****ers will turn you upside down and shake your last penny out of your pocket then kick you in the balls. So nope. Im good.
